Boots sale postponed due to bad weather. They haven't sold as much stock at 50% due to people staying at home in the warm. They are hoping people will carry on buying at 50% for another week so they don't make too much of a loss apparently.
At some stores today people were still thinking it was 75% off and walking around with trolleys full of stuff! I bet they got a shock when they went to the tills.
Yesterday was stopped in the street and asked if i'd do a survey. I needed to watch a tv show on DVD and then answer some questions. I thought it was funny there were nine or ten adverts in the middle. When they phoned today to ask about the DVD, all the questions were about the adverts!!! Half an hour later (annoying American man on phone couldn't understand english accent so I had to repeat everything twice).... I got a £5.00 gift voucher. Woopee. Thats £27.97 made today!!!I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

Well done Elysia,
I went in BHS store today and there was 4 members of staff moving the sale rails from christmas out the back. The buckets of beer were £5.50 and I didnt get one because I was looking at a cardi, and when I came back there was no sign of the sale being there.
Amazing really, it disappeared so fast:mad:Challenge 2018 - Learn by heart the Book by Wayne Morgan on Amazon - Betfair Football Trading as it helps to supplement my small income :beer:0 -

Mary that's brilliant. I made my mum one for her 60th (must have cost over £150.00 with all the papers, embellishments, rub-ons etc. Made my daughter one in a Handbag shaped book for her 18th - it was a bit of a rush though and it didn't turn out as nice as i'd hoped.
I bought a new one from Whsmith 70% off the other day. I bought some thing for Elysia's birthday on Monday but it was just below the threashold for free delivery. I bought the new scrapbook to top it up so got free p+p so really got the scrapbook for £1.00 (if you see what I mean!)I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!
