Pips Mum - big hugs for you, hope today went well and you celebrated your Grandad's life. Its my Nan's birthday (she would have been 98 today, bless her heart) at least he is at peace. God bless xx

Piglet27 - your poor boy, give him lots of cuddles and let him sleep, best thing for him, and he needs to be better for when Santa comes!

Gave my first gift out today, had to drive home in awful freezing fog too. Got to -12 this morning, don't know how long this is likely to go on for!

Got DD nursery play tomorrow pm, she is an angel!!! Then in the evening DS has his school production. Going to sit and write the rest of my cards this evening.
Hair is being done on Friday as it is work do, out on 3 more do's next week too! OH eyes nearly popped out his head when I told him I was out 3 school nights lol! Luckily all are already paid for!
Still waiting for a couple of presents to be delivered, once they are here will merrily complete my wrapping, need to get on with it as everything is falling out the hiding places now!

  • Hi all....

Pipsmum - Hope today went ok for you ((((hugs))))

I feel for all those who have still got snow. Luckily ours has all gone (london), I havent been out for nearly 2 weeks!!! Anyway.....went to docs this evening........antidepressants are going to be changed (again!!) and he has given me some sleeping tablets to get my sleep routine back!! I am feeling a bit apprehensive about new meds as I always have a reaction when I start new ones (have to come off these ones first!). Also I am going back to have some different therapy! So fingers crossed for next couple of weeks. DH said he is taking me out to our local shopping centre tomorrow as I need stuffing for the monkeys.....I have placed a couple of bids on buttons on Ebay. I have managed to get started on the mountain of wrapping!!! It is so much easier to store when it is not wrapped!!! Having a late dinner .....nearly ready....curry mmmmm.

    Hope u r all well.

    Much love lisi xx

    Poor Little Mr Piglet :(

Glad Miss CDSmiler is feeling better though :)

Have I missed anyone? I'm shattered with all the running around and still didn't get my errands done yesterday. I did take my daughter to see Santa though, he was really surly and I ended up telling him off :o that's me on his naughty list...

Diddley - Make sure you wear your sunscreen. ;)

Freezing fog here for three days running. Snow's all gone though. :D

Mini Piglet - I hope you get better very soon. Piglet - don't you worry what other people think, if he wants an icelolly to soothe his throat, give it to him. Take no notice.

Esmer - I saw the news with the people sleeping in their cars. Madness!!!

Pipsmum - Was thinking of you today. Sending big hugs.

More hugs for you too Toothfairy - I hope your medication starts working real soon. If you need someone to talk to, we're here for you.

Thanks everyone. It was a nice service but very upsetting. My Mum said I was to go in the 2nd car to take care of my cousins (21 & 18) and I was sobbing so much they had to take care of me. Epic fail as an older cousin!!! The wake was in a nice little pub that had an open fire with boughs and stockings hanging over and a lovely tree. All of our family and friends were together so it did feel quite nice, obviously a big thing was missing though.

Think I might put tree up tomorrow, I am off work so will see how I feel. It some how feels wrong to be decorating when I feel so sad????

Pipsmum - glad everything went ok 2day.

I'll get the missing Santa numbers sorted out over next couple of days.

Managed to get the cards done last ngt, just got to the family ones. Nothing else exicting, been quiet day, had plans galore, but just had one of those days. xx

So thick - forgot to say got my Boots parcel through - really plzed as I ordered the FCUK bag (on offer of the week), so got one for best mate as well for xmas.

Then had Vistaprint order through - and everything came through really quick, got my 2 GPs, personal mugs, and some more t-shirts for dad, ordered 2 for myslef but mum claimed them, luckly have another email for free items.

So plan is to work out how many Santa mugs left to do, and then the personal ones make them into snowman soup as well.
Just want to get down to wrapping, but got to get this assisgnment done 1st.
