    Nor me!

What did you did of Kirsty and Phil then? It was ok. I liked the snowball icecreams and the pinata - I might get DD to make them with me.

It was good as it wasn't as way out as last years Homemade home - and the crafty section on the program she's doing at the moment. 'Oh I'll just pop off and get a designer vase made especially' LOL - I have one Royal Doulton one (prize) and my other vases were from Woolies. :rotfl:

I liked some of the IDEAs, the cheap ones :rotfl:I missed the start of it, so missed the pinata........

We might be due some more snow this afternoon, only says light shower so hoping its not going to make the paths too slippery.

They said we were getting a LITTLE snow and we got 32cm........... its chaos where I live, people stuck on the motorways overnight! in -12 temperatures. So keep warm :)

We had -15 the other morning, its crazy.

Morning by the way, where are my manners!

Not feeling Christmassy as its my Grandads funeral today :-(

I really, really need to do some wrapping and my tree isnt up yet. Work Christmas party on Friday so hoping that will make me feel a bit more festive. I recorded Phil and Kirstys Christmas so will watch that later in week. I like her other show but yes it is a bit too posh for most of us!!

Have a good day all x

Hope today goes ok for you. And you get peace and can move on, thinking about you. I have not put my tree up either. And in a panic as my cello order and other parcels not here :(

    Hope everyone is ok. :)

Pipsmum - thinking of you (((hugs)))

My tree isn't up yet but I'm hoping to do it tonight.

What a day! School was shut for 3 days last week due to the snow, then today we get a huge burst pipe - water everywhere and it made the heating stop. Parents were called and all kids started to leave from 12:30. I've been home for half an hour, way earlier thanI usually get home :)

    Evening everyone,

Big hugs to pipsmum, hope all went ok today and you got to say goodbye.

Been off here since friday, there's so much to catch upon! Will get to it in a minute. On a christmassy note, i got tree and all decs put up at the weekend, kids are still in ore! just stand in front of the tree and stare, very funny!

Unfortunately ds came home from day out with his dad last night, crying! Then up all night, poorly tummy and temp, We got into docs today. Doc was shocked ds has, wait for it, tonsilitis, conjunctivitis, ear infection and a water infection. Bless him, he hasn't moved off the sofa all day (except for taking dd to and from school), he's just sat still flushed cheeks and eyes half closed. Got very weird looks from parents at school when we turned up, ds sucking on an ice lolly! lol x

    Hello all :j
Well snow starting to go at last but very slowly. Pavements still like sheet of ice and OH said someone told him we've more to come  Calendar weather chappie last night said it would get warmer from tomorrow .................no signs so far, in fact think its colder. At this rate I shan't leave the house till spring:eek: Bit of a worry as OH has his hospital appyt. next week -not till 4pm -by then it'll be really cold:eek:and if we have more snow he'll not get there
On the plus side...........he says he's not worried if he can't get there as he feels ok (well he's bound to say that -typical bloke!) -card making stuff I sent for last week has arrived and so have the bracelets I ordered for grandchildrens 18th.
Been wrapping................talk about confused.com !! Couldn't get everything to fit in sons box -his 'pint of socks' stopped the lid shutting so had to re-arrange and put sock snowman in -could squash that down a bit. His girlfriends stuff wouldn't fit either but I managed to get the lid on enough to tie it all up with ribbon. Took it all back up to the ''grotto'' and found necklace and bracelet I got from charity shop for her ages ago................lol Forgot all about it............so going to have to have a re-think on that one. I'm giving them a brownie mix so that needs to stay upright so some stuff is going in a basket anyway........might put her recipe box in there as well (if it'll fit !!)............so tomorrow......wrapping again  Just when I thought I'd have finished.

Hope you're all ok and staying warm.................:)
esmer I keep thinking about you every time I hear the weather and traffic news..............take care and stay safe:)
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Ahhh, your poor little boy! I can't imagine having all those infections/illnesses at once, one is bad enough. Give him a cuddle from us :)
