-17 in some places up North. Look at the Live-EYE view on this site, and you will see nearly EVERY camera has snow.......... http://trafficscotland.org/lev/

I have never seen it like this, even when we had the bad snow last year, some places got missed, I think a Satellite view would show a LOT of the UK in White. :j

Elysia, Easyjet are cramming all their passengers into the normal scheduled flights. Nightmare, but we are cosy and warm inside and the hotel were able to give us our room back. there are loads of abandoned cars outside

  • we've had lots of snow, and thunder and lightening tonight with halestones, got caught in it on the way back from the village lol

not got much done today as my mum stayed longer then usual, but still knitting here, having trouble with the boarder at the mo, but it'll sort it's self if i dont pull it down and start again first lol

looks like i'll be looking after my mum again tomorrow so i'll not get anything done again, (she has dementia and is a handfull sometimes, totally goes off on one like a two yr old and doesnt understand anything anymore, even why she has to eat, or even who i am) but she has her good days and bad.

i really like the look of the challenge, i need help keeping me motivated, now my last daughter has left for uni, i'm the only female and feel quite alone sometimes without my girlies here, three males in the house and i seem to be he only one who does anything..... sorry, moan over lol

lol i feel organised just reading about all your christmassy crafts and pressies, all wrapped up and cards written, and some with dec's up too, but then i remember its not me lol, i only have a few pressies so far, dont wrap till usually xmas eve cos i forget what i've got, even if i write it down. OH said he doesnt mind me getting the tree and decs out, usually he's abit humbug if its too early, and its still november, even if it is just one more day lol, so i best get my butt in gear!!! lol

sorry for the long post, just needed to sound off abit, i feel loads better now lol i know i'm still quite new but i really look forward to reading the posts every day now, and i feel like i have someone beside me, you've even taken over FB, havent been on that for ages lol
THANKYOU!! all of you, thankyou for being there, i'm so greatful.

    lots of love xxxx

    I passed my exam today!!!!!
Meant to be off to York shopping tomorrow, hope the snow doesn't stop us too much!
Managed to buy 2 more presents whilst out today, FIL and OH fleece and golf jumpers from TK Maxx, think will go down a treat. Also had a delivery whilst I have been out and notification that one other present has been despatched so the list is going down slowly. Now I have the exam out of the way and don't have to worry about it anymore I can really concentrate on Christmas!!! Got to clean and tidy the living room so that the tree can go up on Friday!
On goes the Christmas music channel and we are doing sleeps to santa on the radio! 26 sleeps to go everyone!!! xxx

    Xmas Saver!
Sounds like everyones having fun with the snow. It's cold, popped out earlier to get voucher for the PTA, then appointment 2ngt with Miss Hoodies teacher, (bless her even thou dad went, she rearranged it so I could pop in), Miss Hoodie has come on leaps and bounds, achieving all her targets and above, so really plzed.

Just sorted her advent calender, - got it from halfcost, a set of 24 red boots on string £1.99, but brought 2 packs of mini chocs and run out...... thou think me, mum and Miss Hoodie quality testing the Bounty bars!!

Got some gd news, the GP surgery rang, and the GP I saw last week, he's decided that I'm to have the epi-pen b4 go to see the hospital, so its family outing 2mor to the surgery for a lesson in how to use it...... poor mums got herself in a pitch..... Miss Hoodie asked can she have 1st go, as she has got to go on holiday with me!! Theres me hopeing its a one off!!

Planning on finishing snowman soup 2mor, pop one for all the ladies at our surgery, theres 8 ladies, - thought that way make a change from the boxes of chocs they get.

Miss Hoodie has now done list no 4 for Santa she keeps changing her mind with the odds and sods, Jedward are now no go, not sure whos now flavour of the month!! Thou she wants club penguin membership bless her. xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx
