Hello everyone! Sorry I haven't been around , the last 3 days have been manic!

Friday everything was fine at work , and straight from work we took the kids to a indoor play area for their Xmas party has a brilliant time (despite the nasty burn on my arm) went to my friends for dinner and a catch up and woke up the next morning with a voice mail telling me Mollie (the 86yr im friends with/look after) is in hospital awaiting surgery for a broken hip so i got a taxi to my friends in my pjs quickly changed and raced to the hospital and managed to spend a hour with her before the surgeons came to get her. then every one convinced me to keep my plans of shopping dinner clubbing in Southampton but I said i was too upset and worried eventually later when Mollie was out of surgery I went and had a great time back in the hotel in the early hours a aman knocked my door i opened it (he was our "hotel neighbor" he said watch and his other mate threw a fire work up the hall so security and fire alarms were everywhere.. luckily it was a tiny fire work so a bit of smoke and loud bang and thank God nothing worse.. today I went to my Goddaughters 3rd birthday party followed by spending another evening at the hospital with Mollie

    Anyway.. hope everyone is ok

sorry to hear your news pips mum, always here xx

Scattymam - it's all homemade, no breadmaker, I followed a very simple MaryBerry recipe. I was blown away with it, as it was my first time. Should be able to post ingredients tomorrow for you. :)

Sarah - It's lovely to see you back. How's work? I hope your boys are OK. Pop by soon xxx :A

Pip's mum - Sorry to hear the news about your Grandad. Sending big hugs for you and your family. We know what you meant about the card, don't worry! :)

Legend mum - did you watch Miracle on 34th street? I had planned to watch a christmassy DVD this afternoon, but DD2 got to the TV first so we had to watch Chip 'n' Dale. Remember that cartoon?

DDraig - are you selling all this jewellery? How is it going? I hope you make loads of money if you are. :D

Rufus - sorry to hear about your Dad's friend. I remember you mentioning her before. It's awful but the hospice is the best place for her. :(

Scattymam - I'm reading 12 days of Christmas too. I started it last night, Looking good so far. I bought the puppy one too (can't remember the name of it) something to do with a couple being puppy walkers, so they train the dog for a few months, get attatched and have to give it back. It's going to be so sad, they need fertility treatment to have kids and it doesn't work. :(

Mum2one - You've definatley got more stash places than us but we only have a 12 inch gap around our bed to walk, and that's it, as I'm a little plump, I have to walk sideways. :rotfl: All the other space is filled with presents.

Mary - Your OH is a hero. I dread to think what might have happened. :A

Esmer - your DD is so cute. What a lovely snowman! :T Snow gone here, just Ice left.

Well it's started! DD2 is 7, and she wouldn't go out with us today because, and I quote, "I have nothing to wear!". Ended up bribing her to go out in her High School Musical Dressing up outfit.

Thank goodness Katie and Wagner have gone on X Factor. :j Hurray! Cher to go next week please and then Mary (or visa versa). Let the competition begin!

I gave up trying to catch up, my head was getting confuzzeled lol, did a bit of shopping yesterdat, got the kids all new school uniforms which was a task and a half at this time of year:eek: but did manage it after doing Asda, Mr T's and Mr S's . Morning all

Well we havent had any snow still thank goodness. Did see a few flakes yesterday while at Dads but was over again in about 5 minutes. He still hasnt got any there this morning either. They are saying we might get some over night so keeping my fingers crossed we dont.

I wrote out all Dad's cards for him last night, two need posting at the post office so will try to get there Weds or Thurs.

We got the rest of the decs down last night, have decorated the dining room already, looks nice with all our Chrismtassy ornaments out. Will do the front room on Weds or Thurs when OH is off.

Will try to get some sewing done today as OH is on a day shift. Have the grandchildren coming this afternoon though so will have to get it done this morning.

    Catch you later Rufus xx

Mum2one - I was like you, practically lived at the school with DD1, so with DD2 I say I've done my share and try not to get volunteered.

Sarah - Sorry to be nosey, but why are the boys changing schools this time of year? I hope it's not because of bullying or anything. :(

Have a lovely afternoon with the grandkids Rufus.

I'm feeling spoilt ATM. Since the weather has turned cold stepdad has been picking DD2 and my neice up and taking them to school. We have a half an hour walk otherwise, and it's too cold and icy. So I'm sat here in my PJ's lovely and warm with a hot cuppa.

Forgot to say, anyone looking for Christmas Crackers, Morrys had them in yesterday reduced to half price. we bought a lovely box of special red ones, 6 in a box with berrys round them, were only £4, and a box of 12 silver ones for when the kids come was £2.50. They had some wrapping paper reduced too, 15 metres for 90p.
