Hi Toothfairy - glad everything went ok today! Hope biopsies come back ok xxxx
Have been at work today so not got anything much christmas like done. I have made my Elf's sleeping bag this evening and really pleased with it!! I am not terribly crafty and I have impressed myself.
Just a quickie for now, but much love to all!!!Gifts of time and love are surely the basic ingredients of a truly merry Christmas."

Just a quick visit, been busy with xmas stuff and looking for bargains. I had a go at a chocolate slab and it didn't temper correctly, got all squishy and started to melt on contact, TASTE AMAZING Though lol I got a thermometer but its too slow to react. need to see if I can get a thermometer that is instant....... Anybody know any good ones?
So I need help with
quick reacting thermometer suitable for tempering chocolate
small wooden t-spoons for my bath salts, only making 6
10" sized wooden spoons to attach to my make your own cookie tins. I was going to add cookie cutters but the millies recipe is too delish not too use and no need for cookie cutters.
I think I have nearly everything for my makes and want to get stuck in.
I made this tonight.

elysia - I'm up for money neutral next year count me in, I have done okay this year but lost off a little bit half way through. My biggest bargains have been from the boots 75% off sale, I was the only one in my store that morning and got tons. I've done all my shopping now so I'm going to get started soon on next year and get back into my surveys, lost off with having baby this time last year, but it's about time I got back into it cos he's 1 now (yesterday).
:xmassmile
Have started wrapping now but would like to just have it all organised and finished now.
so will try and pop in more over the coming weeks. I have lots to do and make still. Will post photos if I can.
:santa2:
Ideas- I got a cute little decoration for my daughters teacher, it's a heart painted with blackboard paint with christmassy ribbon to hang it up with, it comes with a little chalk so you can chalk on your own message, though I bought one I think it would be so easy to make, and the chalkboard of course is relevant to teachers!

Need to get on with decluttering and getting the house sorted so I can enjoy this time of year and be as lazy as I like:rotfl:
p.s. I just found out that they really do the coca cola lorry tour in america, and people go out their houses t see them pass, thought that was fab and had no idea they really did this!!!
Anyways glad to be back and gonna get my mse head back on - I have been slipping a bit, need to save some money towards moving house by cutting back and being more frugal with everything not just with christmas
see you all soon x0 -

Just debating whether to make the winter spiced vodka and pomegrante vodka and the rich fruit chutney which is a rich luxuorious version of chutney. Would have to put it into smaller jars than the 1.2 L ones to make it a bit more economically viable.
Otherwise made the last lot of Delia's Christmas Chutney this evening for something to do and free up tomorrow for studying.
So that's done, leaving only the chilli jam and possibly the other fruit chutney if I can track some dried pear down from somewhere!
Also started my meal plan list to start writing down a few things left to get
Wow, I love the sound of the pommegrate vodka, could i be very cheeky, and ask you for the recipie. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0
