    Our lager
    Which art in barrels
    Hallowed be thy drink
    Thy will be drunk
At home as in the tavern
Give us this day our foamy head
    And forgive us our spillages
And forgive those who spill against us
And lead us not to incarceration
    But deliver us from hangovers
    For thine is the beer
    The bitter and the lager
    For ever and ever
    Barmen

Thats the pint of socks poem

    Hello all :j

xrestrictedx - welcome to the thread -you'll find loads of help on here

jamtart -just looked at your blog..........some super things, love the christmas trees..............Just looked at the 'Soft Tree' thread...........gave me a kick up the backside that I promised myself I'd do some more this year. Kept some free fabric samples especially so I must get them done..........once I've done the rest of the fabric hearts.

Ventured into town this morning for some socks to do more ''pint of socks''............lovely crochet scarf in the charity shop the other day has gone but I managed to get a nice velvet one embroidered with beads for sons girlfriend. Craft shop didn't have any letters or numbers that weren't glittery so think I'll have to google for those..........not sure where's the best place to get them.
Did get some pretty paper though for a kitchen organiser.........I'd got couple of old cork backed placemats.........already done one so thought a couple more would be good for extras. Nice floral paper, notepad I've done so it's got matching floral cover, then added calendar and post it notes.
Diaries to cover, one more organiser...........do them tomorrow I think.
Getting to the point now that whatever I do now is extra and not the end of the world if it's not done for this christmas (apart from the diaries) so least the pressures off a bit..............relief !!!
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

    HI all

I was in Aldi today and saw some lovely advent garlands - they were santa-type mittens that you could fill and drape across your mantelpiece etc - think they were £7.99 - looked very nice.

Hope this is of use to somebody!

Off to catch up on posts...
