Hey Qaphsiel,
I'm not sure how to do links or anything fancy like that but I think what you are looking for is 'a pint of socks'. I just tried searching for that and a few threads came up
I'm sure someone clever will be along soon with a link for you though if that doesn't help!
Love Kate xx
Hi
Just a thought think it was Mary who did a pint of socks, she'll be the best to ask, xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -

Pglet - love the bits you have done, well done xx
kmwestfiled - if you are still having trouble with the cello for your pots of gold try cutting out a rectange that is as tall at your pot doubled plus a bit more and wide enough to wrap around the pot with enough to stick it together where it meets. Then wrap around the outside and stick, leaving about 2 inches underneath to fold under and stick after then just gather up the bits on top and scrunch it together and put a bit of tape round it to hold it together while you wrap the ribbon round. May be you can judge how tall you want the cello from this description, you would need enough to turn under at the bottom and enough to scrunch up for the top.
I do this with smaller hampers too if I am running out of cello as you dont use so much. If you get stuck PM me and I will try to help, Rufus xx0 -

Thank youAnd thank everyone else too
It's the Christmas tree in my parents' hallway, the picture was taken last Christmas after we flew in and then had to drive down a horrible spiral multi storey carpark ramp (we rented a car, Husband rarely drives and in any case we drive on the other side of the road, and it was icy, so it was a hellishly hairy experience!) and when we got to my parents their dog scared the bejesus out of Wee Beastie and she was so overtired she howled for two hours straight. The star on the top of the tree in the coldest place in the house was the only thing that calmed her.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Hi all
Glad to hear how ell everybody is doing - sorry I don't get to post much these days - I barely seem to find time to catch up on reading all the posts lol!
Anyway, I was reading on Yahoo News that Boots are introducing a new thing for the reward cards for earning points through other retailers on "Treat Street", and then you can use all the points at Boots - useful for those who save their points for Jan sales!
Sorry, I forgot to do a link, but if you go to https://www.yahoo.co.uk or google it I'm sure you will find the full story.

Sorry, have to rush off again to pick up DD2 from nursery.
Have fun.Thrifty Gifty February make £20 challenge £21.05/£20.0 -
I've been looking on amazon and ebay and most of the cellophane wrap starts at 10m. How many pog/hampers would that cover. I don't want to spend £10+ to wrap a few gifts. TIA0

I did post this on the quick grabbit now board but just in case any of you missed it.
TKMaxx/HomeSense have really good priced Le Creuset items in atm. For example we got the dark blue large utensil jar for £5.99, then went into debenhams and saw it for £15.00!
They have all sorts of Le Creuset items (in fact the only things i didn't see were the pans and spatulas), in all sorts of colours.
Just thought i'd post it in case any of your family members/friends like it. We personally collect it - so it was a jackpot for us0 -

Lol thanks. Hubby has his law exam this afternoon so this weekend will be OU and revision FREE - so hoping to do a few jobs around the house that have been put off for weeks, INCLUDING taking pics of the jewellery I've attempted so far! lol So, because I'm likely to be busy busy, I can't volunteer to help with your ironing, sorry!! lol WHere you off to on holiday? I loose track...
Thanks for the butter cream recipes susan - I'm making my brother a belated birthday cake and he's asked for a white chocolate butter cream, so your suggestions have helped me with my little thinking cap....
rufus - lovely dolls!!
Legendmum - hope your teeeth are better. Not fun.
Mary - thinking of you in Scotland!
kmwestfield - Welcome, and hope the wrapping works out - when I did mine last year (and when I wrapped hampers) it was very much trial and error I'm afraid! Think I ended up doing it pretty much like rufus suggested though (as I misjudged the amount of cello quite often! lol).
piglet - LOVE your sock monkey!!
Janebo - *wave*!!
Gemmy - oooooooooooooooooooooooo off to look right NOW! Thank you!!!!!
Ok ladies (and gent?), IF (big if!) I was to set up a blog for cake making/decorating and jewellery bits, firstly 1) Which blog site would you recommend, and 2) what name could I have that incorporates both?! Currently thinking something like "Earrings & Icings"...or something... lol
