Ah - mine was from a few yrs ago, it came like a A4 size print, - had one the day you were born, then my mums maiden name - not as common as her married name.
Rack my brains and c if I can think of anywhere else that does them. Sorry it was a false start xx

    Don't worry about it! Thanks!

Welcome wonderwife! You and djstar need to pass those babies around!! Yum yum. lol

mary - glad there's a plan for your lad!

rufus - shame about the craft show, but I'm sure you made up for it with the ebay shopping!

Had a mad day in work - how dare they give me things to do when I'd rather be on here or looking up crafty and Christmas things!! tut tut.

  • People making mince pies already?? Now that's what I call organised.

Rufus - sorry to hear you can't make it to the craft show, but if you've been saving up at least you can treat yourself in the fabric shop!

Mary - hope you have a lovely weekend in Scotland

Did my sponsored dog walk on Sunday, managed to make it round about 5k in my wellies before the heavens opened and my dog had enough! There were lots of people there with their dogs and Dog's Trust bought some of their rescue dogs too so there was a good turnout and lots of money was raised. :T

Not done anything remotely Christmassy as had my Dad and stepmum staying with us for the last few days so been constantly making cups of tea and tidying up! They've gone today though so I can start having a think - plan to do my Christmas cake next weekend and should hopefully have some Amazon vouchers soon that I can buy a few bits and pieces with.

    Hope everyone is ok.

And racking my poor overworked brain for what to do with mini-pegs.......... Must be something but can only think of covering a placemat, sticking shopping list on and maybe little calendar and sticking mini-peg up one corner............all very ''maybe'' though and just might not happen otherwise nothing else will get done:eek: see........panic had set in again............oh dear.........quick swig of coffee................tell self to calm down.................lol:rotfl:

    Hi all

My Vistaprint bits came and I am really pleased, none of the photos were of poor quality despite their warnings. Going to order a few more calendars now I hhave seen them and know they print OK.

elysia - thanks. I've been looking through the Quote Garden site ........don't want anything too soppy or too family based.....I know they're family tree scrapbooks but our family is a bit scattered so I really was after something a bit 'inspirational' if you know what I mean. Can't find anything to do with Mums and Sons either that isn't too soppy.
Did have a couple I found but when I tried to copy and paste them on here internet went off.........

    Hi all

I didn't go online yesterday and just been catching up - Elysia I think it was you that mentioned that you had knitted those beads and only used 6 stitches - so I'll try that - thanks.

Legendmum - glad your house is ok after the oven incident amazing what kids get up to.

The only time anything like that happened was when I left ex OH in charge of the kids and took a nap, woke to burning smell and he was in the front room, totally oblivious that anything was happening  Men!!!!

Rufus shame you can't attend that show, I know you were looking forward to it.
