    Hello all :j
Crikey what a lot of nattering since I was last here...............lol

mum2one -sorry about the holiday -(((:o))) hugs -can only echo what everyone else has said.

legend -no you're not being stingy at all so don't worry about it honest. They sound lovely:T

pinkflop - photo book with photos of years gone by would be good plus CD of old songs that she knows. I know when my Mum was in a care home, her and the rest of the residents used to love a singalong to some of the old favourites they knew and old piccys always revive the memories..........plus older people seem to enjoy looking back at what they did in their childhood.:)

Sorry if I've missed anyone out which I'm bound to have done ............:)

Done nothing christmassy at all today but did get our lad out in the garden helping me plant wallflowers and daffodil bulbs so thats another job done. Had to do it before it rained.
Then sat and made wedding card for OH's nephew........that took ages just deciding how to do it................lol Still, done now ready to post off.

Tomy Megasketch was delivered this morning -quicker than I thought................better have a look and check that it's ok..................lol

Just had a look.............seems ok. Something rattling but expect thats the pencil thingy to draw with. Must remember to take half price sticker off..............lol :rotfl:

That'll be little grandson sorted..........was going to create an art and craft box for him but what with the alphabet pocket thing, plus now this that should be it done. Oh I did see on another thread a link to a blog where foam shapes were cut out .....seems once they're wet they can be stuck on bathroom tiles at bathtime to make some sort of picture. Got some left over foam so will do that as well.
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

I've been in present sorting mode this afternoon and even wrapped some then they can go up in the loft out of the way. Going to carry on again in a bit.

Yes Mary. Elysia had foam letters that you played with in the bath. We used to practise spelling words and names, on the tiles like you say.

LegendMum those pots are stuffed, you couldn't get anything else in, so don't worry. Once you have the Cello on and a gold ribbon they will look fantastic.

Here are some pre-printed labels for pots of gold. Susan made them and posted them over on the crafting for Christmas thread. Just print them off. I laminated mine last year. There's some for Snowman Soup too there - page 123. Thanks Susan for sharing your designs. xxx
