I'm off to the peak district for the week tomorrow so I'm popping on to say ta ra for a week

Looking forward to looking around some little shops for a change instead of the usual ones.

Have just sorted uni stuff into folders at last as am taking some away to read over next week and the house looks a little tidier as a result

Have a good week everyone and good luck and fun bargain hunting!

    Hi all

I just sorted out my 83 year old Grannys Christmas present. Was watching Strictly Come Dancing (does strictly make others feel christmassy or is it just me?) and it clicked in my brain that she loves it so went on good old Amazon and got her:
    Craig Revell Horwords autobiography
    Len Goodmans Autobiography
    Book about Brucey
Strictly live at the O2 dvd
    The music of strictly CD
    & Strictly annual 2010

All for the princely sum of £6.34!!!!! There was £5 of postage on top but I am not counting that as I dont add petrol or parking costs onto other presents.

I just want to find a little glitterball now, pop them all in a glitzy gift bag and Voila!

They had a glitterball keyring in our Asda the other day for the really expensive price of about................................10p for a pack of four. If you can't get one, pm me and I'll pop you a pack in the post.

Edited to add: just remembered someone wanted Jacob/twilight stuff. Did you still want the Jacob keyrings? I'm not asking anything for them. I ordered an Edward pen for a pound and I got sent £7.99 Jacob keyrings by mistake (not much difference there).

    Morning all!

    Toothfairy – lovely hamper!

Mum2one – forgot about your trip to Edinburgh – when you off?

    Mrsow – belated Happy Birthday!!

I’m a bit annoyed with myself – think I’ve mislaid about £15 worth of avon money. Grrrr. Serves me right for doing too much at once!

    Clare x

Sods law - due to go to Devon 2mor, but its been a ngtmare week, with this stupid IBS kicking and the kidney ,infection my GP said its best not to go, as I'd be driving, and he doesn't advice it, but has any insurance he'll do for me.

and the person I was going with - this sounds daft, the way he's been I've felt uncomfortable, little things like he's had this week off work so been in the pub all day every day, moaning about money (yet he brought a car 2 yrs ago he said 36k, it as 50% depoist, then £800pm loan,) and snidey comments about my crutches - will I need to use them much - yet he met me while I was on crutches. Maybe I'm being bit oversensitive but its like a itch that you can't reach, I think I would of coped better abroad - have my own room, on front door, we had hired a 3bed van - think it would been to much to soon and I think it would of gone bums up after a couple of days. He was paying for the hol, as I'd got the discount, and did depoist, but the rest never came - and to be honest I live cheaply - couple pints, thats it etc etc, and think I may have been lumbered.

Hope you find your Avon money ok, - Miss Hoodie lost one of her bday cheques, it got knocked off the side and was in with the rubbish. xx

Djstar - Wow about the show, I would love to see that -thou I think I would need to be in a long mac - look more like a roly poly dressed up!!

Cookiecrumbs - All done and dusted, - should be winging to you now, false eyelashes, don't know if you have a Wilkinsons by you, but went in ours only quick peep, but they had false eyelashes and false nail glue 75% off, hanging on the aisle. (my nail was 75p, lashes were around that price as well),x

Mum2one - not the dreaded holiday jinx again :( Sorry to hear you've been so poorly. You don't think that it was your body telling you something about the trip with your friend?

I can understand you having an icky feeling about it all if he's like that. I would have been tempted to lock him out if he carried on like that when you went away!
