fedup - hope you have a nice birthday on Sunday, just relax and enjoy yourself and don't even waste your time thinking about the ex...
rufus - hope you enjoy the knitting and stitching show at the weekend, I was at Alexandra Palace last Sunday and it was great!
mummyslittleboy - those pots of gold look great
nickybo - hope the move goes smoothly
mum2one - I thought of you today when I saw a story in the paper about a 2 year old boy being asked to take his hood down in the Co-op!! :rotfl:Well done on getting the bike too.
Not done anything Christmassy this week, but am gearing up to it - can't believe it's October tomorrow already!! Am doing a sponsored Dog Walk this weekend for The Dog's Trust charity so hopefully it won't be pouring with rain
I saw the article in the Sun, I just laughed, poor child.
Good luck with the sponsered walk, hope the weather holds for you.

Hello all :j
mum2one - well done with the argos shopping:T Thank you, think I fell very lucky, thou haven't told dad yet were picking a bike up and its not from the Argos extra where we can park - town centre store!!
Nicky - good luck..........hope all goes well :T Our lad fidgety as ever particularly as he had an interview for vocational college place............he got in thank goodness so after monday next week I'll have more time to get stuff done (hopefully). We have the 'hard to place' teenagers........used to have 3 but after OH's illness gone down to one and think we'll stick at that. OH now got chest infection - consultant said to watch out for it and get antibiotics so he's done that. He's ok but doesn't want it to get any worse.
Hope OH goes on ok, at least he's done the right thing and got antibitiocs down here, without sounding cheeky, (just the arrangement I have with my Doc), I have a spare supply of weeks antibiotics in hand, incase a chest infection starts, (more because of the Asthma, most colds go straight to me lungs - sometimes I wheeze like a100 a day smoker, so funny as Bailey just can't work out where the nose is coming from).
cdsmiler -thanks for the link.........I'll have a look at that:T
Due to 'fidgety' lad all I got done today is the other patchwork border to the tea towel........still least its finished and can go upstairs in my 'stash' room out of the way. Now must consult list of ''stuff to do''..........keep seeing things on blogs and places and adding them to my never ending list..............lol:rotfl:
You've been productive, with the patchwork border, - def agree with the other poster (useless with names unless hit reply), who suggested giveing lad the duster, xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Borrowed the recipie from the Xmas food in advance
I used two punnets of fruit (raspberries or blackberries etc) to 225g granulated sugar. Gently heated until the sugar was dissolved and the fruit had juiced a bit. Put the fruit into a jug and added a 70cl bottle of value vodka or gin, covered with clingfilm. I will stir every day for a week or so, then bottle and leave somewhere cold (I use the garage) till Christmas. Maybe shaking them up if I wander passed them. I may add more sugar later if after tasting I think it could do with it - all a bit hit and miss with me!
(theres a gin recipie as well ) xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Toothfairy - Love the hamper, looks fab.
Mrsow - love LLoyds chemist catalogue, good luck with the gas fitter.
Can't remember who to say thank you to re Topcashback and Vistaprint
.
Did my first order throught cashback, got DD a pen for her teacher - shes having Santas mug, but thought the pen was personal, and got the bumper sticker, "his lordship on board" - Bailey not dad!!
Then used an email they sent mum, so had free caldender, free mug, tshirt, pen, think it was about £7 all in, then went back again and did another batch calender, mug, tshirts - again mega saving, then another order, the offers had ended on 30th, there was downloading 3 cameras of pics, half of them were old ebay items, and got 10 free xmas cards, thou nightmare trying to get good photo is, they cut bits off, got there in the end,
But have put note in diary for monday - to do Octobers order through Vista Print, and topcashback, - does anyone know if its like Quidco where you can have more than 1 account per household.
Off to bed, finish rest of emails 2mor, got to get me bit of beauty sleep - town shopping and Home Bargains is next dr to Poundland (sorry Mary) xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -

Morning all!
Toothfairy – lovely hamper!
Mum2one – forgot about your trip to Edinburgh – when you off?
Mrsow – belated Happy Birthday!!
I’m a bit annoyed with myself – think I’ve mislaid about £15 worth of avon money. Grrrr. Serves me right for doing too much at once!
