I asked my daughter at lunch if she would like some elderflower juice (the one from the M&S £10.00 deal) she looked confused and asked what an elderflower was and whether it was just an old flower :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Ahh bless... How old is she?
I think I MUST start the diet tomorrow (I've been trying since the 1st but we still have goodies in the house and they are too tempting) - Anyway my 6 year old told me she loves me because I have a 3-D tummy!!! I'd like to think of it as cuddly!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:LOLI :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

Hello everyone
Hope everyone had a good new year. Sorry I've not been about-hit six weeks today but the morning sickness hit me NYE
Ive been doing baileys truffles for ages-they really are yum, and Rach, they aren't a fluke at all. I dabble in cake decorating and use the truffles in "chocolate boxes" -have a look on my blog can I offer another cheat recipe-its popular with weight watchers but so yummy:
Cheats Ferrero roche's
FERRERO ROCHER
YOU WILL NEED
6 ORIGINAL RYVTAS 0,5 EACH
1 TBS NUTTELLA-0.5 POINTS TEASPOON
15 PETITS FOURS CASES
Instructions
PUT SIX RYVITAS IN A FREZER BAG TIE BAG AND CRUSH, PUT IN A BOWL AND HEAT A TABLESPOON IN HOT WATER BEFORE PUTTING IN TO NUTTELLA JAR THIS WILL HELP IT TI SLIDE OF WHEN PUTTING NUTTELLA IN THE BOWL. MIX AND STIR, THEN PUT 1 TBS HOT WATER IN BOWL STIR. DIVIDE IN TO 15 CASES LEAVE IN FRIDGE FOR 2 HOURS TAKE OUT AND ENJOY.
They do nicely in the cakes too.
Mumtoonethank you for adding me to the pg list :TMakes me feel special:D
and you did make me laugh. My favorite is "if you're so disabled how do you have a child" (I have cerebral palsy)-cant wait to argue over the bump. The first time I used my freedom pass I had to get a police officer to get on the bus to get my pass back from the driver-he'd asked to see it when I got on and when I gave it to him, he claimed it must have been forged and that I could colect it from the bus garage with a police officer. Thankfully there was one nearby and he verified with the council that it was genuine.
I went to Morrisons the other day and bought a Pooh bear mug-when I got home I noticed it was 1 for £2 or 2 for £3. So I went back today and got 2 with Eeyore on it. Ive decided Im going to do Eeyore hampers for my SIL and DS' godmum for christmas as they both love eeyore.
My biggest thing at the moment is valentines day-we dont normally indulge, but I'd like to do something special for DH because valentines day is the last day of my first trimester-and since I miscarried last year at 7 weeks on mothering sunday, getting to 12 weeks will be a big deal. Any ideas?
ETA: Oops sorry-my font went all funny.

Thanks PolkaDot. I am definitely going to make more of these. I think all my friends would appreciate them for their birthdays.
Also I am definitely going to try the Cheat Ferrero Rocher as I love them, but they are so expensive to buy!! I will have to add that recipe to my growing collection of adapted recipes.
I am also pregnant with my 4th child which is due beg of May. I have only just stopped getting the morning sickness and I am almost 23 weeks. I am so glad I am feeling better now, but will only be about a month before I start getting really big and absolutely shattered!!DD1 born May 2002, DD2 born Dec 2005, DS born Dec 2008. Baby due May 2010! TEAM PINK!!

PolkaDot - I know I felt awful for the first three months with morning sickness and tiredness!! Then got over the tiredness, but still felt sick, now have got over the sickness, but know it won't be long before I start having to have an afternoon nap!! And thats with sleeping about 10hours each night as well!! I live in France so it is still dark at 8am in the morning here and I really don;t feel like getting up whilst it is dark, but have to get up to get the kids to school.
I also envy everyone else shopping in the sales in UK as our sales don;t start until next week here. I have been doing a bit of online shopping though!DD1 born May 2002, DD2 born Dec 2005, DS born Dec 2008. Baby due May 2010! TEAM PINK!!

Hi polkadot - what's a Saffer? I don't think I'm one but maybe I just don't realise?!! Saffstar comes from our wonderful family dog, who was called Saffron"Don't sacrifice what you want most for what you want now"

AAHHThats lovely. A Saffer is a south african. Its a bit of a "southern african" thing. There's so mant South Africans and Zimbabweans in the uk and the accent is rather similar, so the question to ask is "are you a Saffer or a Zimbo?"-thats where it comes from:)

Ah right - I've learnt something today then
Nope, I'm deffo not a Saffer or a Zimbo - just a plain old English/Welsh cross breed!! :rotfl:
