I got two High School Musical mugs yesterday for my neices for easter. They were stuffed full of chocs and marshmallows and were only 75p (75% off from Sainsbury's). I wish I'd got more now though as the date on them was Late 2011! Oh Well.

Saffstar - sorry for being nosy again but how did you win a prize from MSE?

No worries - through the competitions forum: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.html?f=72

I've won loads through it over the last 18 months - a £150 Storm watch, a Tefal Actifry, loads of skincare and make-up goodies and other smaller stuff as well as the holiday - went with OH and my brother and his GF last June :D . My Mum's won tons too - two chairs worth £2,200 and £5,000 Asda vouchers are her best so far :)

It's a bit time consuming but worth it when you win :)

Wins you don't want make excellent Christmas pressies too!

    hi everyone,

Thanks everyone for saying how good the spreadsheet is! I, of course, cant take ANY credit for it as I didnt set it up but I know Joyce didn't mind me passing it on a few years ago to fellow MSEr's.

My in box is now half empty if anyone else would like a copy!

Thanks, Sugarhunny, for the spreadsheet - will start filling it in later.

Can I join in now, please? Every Christmas I say I will be more organised next year and every year I am less so. Am thinking of going away for Christmas next year so will have to be more organised. To that end I am off to Boots tomorrow - the £5 off No7/Ruby & Millie voucher is back (thanks to lufoo7 on the Grabbit Board for this).

Blimey - I'm away from my pc for a few days and come back to almost 20 pages!! Think I'm just about caught up now.

Did manage to get my niece an "Adopt a Polar Bear" set and my nephew a robotic bug that climbs up windows for half price each in WHSmith. Should have been £24.99 and £9.99 and I got them for £9.50 and £4.99. Also managed to get all of my cards and wrapping paper for this year, so not a bad start.

Sorry if this has been posted on here already, just did a quick search... I suspect it's already somewhere else on MSE too but I don't get a lot of time to check MSE so tend to stick to certain threads :o

I was in Boots yesterday nosing at the Miss Sixty perfume set, marked up as £14.95 when a kind SA siddled up to me and told me they were better than half price, at just under £5 :j (£4.95 I think?) so I bought a couple for gifts for next year and it smells yummy so think one might not make it :rotfl:

Yep, my two boys are English/Welsh cross breeds too. I'll have to call my eldest (only 6, blss him) a 'cross breed' now and see how he reacts :rotfl: .

DH always proudly tells him he will be able to play Rugby for either Wales or England.. but currently he's faaaar more interested in horse riding :rotfl::rotfl:
Sorry, I went right off topic there!

Just a quickie! Been so busy and absent! Happy New Year all!

Mum2one - you could take Coment much further than that under some disability act somewhere. Absolutely disgusting behaviour from them. Don't let it go.

Did get some more cards done for MIL's card box and made a little sort of holder for stamps our of the same card I've covered the box with..............keep looking at it and wanting to keep it for myself.............:rotfl:

Well Mary, if you wanted to keep it, there's plenty of time before Christmas to make MIL another one!

I know what you mean though, I hate parting with things I've made too. Even if I make another one, they don't usually turn out as good as the first one.

This cleaning mylarky [flylady] realy works - I've just cleaned the top of the kitchen cupboards and found a carrier bag with 2 Power Rangers activity books and one colouring book for older children - very pleased as I'd forgotten that they were there so its more to go in the pressie bag.
