susan - the smile pebbles were so easy to do......just a pebble out the garden, paint on the word Smile, varnish and pop into empty anadin box I covered and its a little extra something for next to nothing.............lol Trying to stick to a budget of nearly nothing this year............scrapbooks have cost enough..............lol
Been trawling the internet looking at coats, trousers, boots etc. Made myself a wish list on one site and now had a look at Tescos and seen a lovely little duffle coat and pair of boots...........both in grey................oh I want them...............:rotfl:Trouble is my shoulders are so small I've hardly got any...........and the coat I like has set in sleeves ! Is that going to make me look weird or what ? Our tescos don't do clothes otherwise I could try it on.............oh b** !! Wish I'd not looked now.............lol:rotfl:I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Bit more organised this end, finally got round to opening my delievery from the book site, the bags were ok, def not worth the RRP, but have come perfectly in time as we take some xmas prezzies down to Devon half term, so saves me routing through the shed.
Got to say was really impressed with the 99p clearance section, got dog screen cleaner, (Miss Hoodie has claimed one, so I'm having the other!!) (49p), reading light for book (49p), metal book mark (49p), black passport cover and luggage tage (99p), those 3 go for friends hubby xmas prezzie, all boxed in white boxes, look more expensive.
tidyed out my last halfcost order, now have 20 white mugs ready for snowman soup, piano bags and some odds and sods, (very lucky) as Miss hoodie has had 2 party invites 2ngt....
Next great plan is get jewellery sorted, each batch is in an icecream container, but want to get them in proper batches, and see what i need.
Its assisgnments rest of week.
ADVANCE WARNING, MISS HOODIE HAS STARTED HER SUGGESTIONS FOR THE NEXT SANTAS CHALLENGE........
Thou bless her, it was her best friends bday 2day, she went round for tea, the girl loved the Miss kitty jewellery stuff.
Miss Hoodie - shes so funny, she picked up a leaflet at weekend for the theatre, and was looking through, they'd got "Ladyboys from bankok", she only wants to go and see them - luckly got around it by saying its too far to go (140 mile round trip), and its a school night!!
xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Haha, you do make me laugh Mum2one. Fancy being on here at 2 am!!!
Found the bag of bits left over from making my quilt for our bedroom this morning, most of the fabrics were red, black and cream with gold metallic patterns on so have sat and cut all the left overs into same width strips and will be making a Christmassy quilted tablecloth for our dining table. I had a few FQs of christmassy fabrics as well to add to it and found a nice piece that has printed squares on it with a santa in each square that I can use for the middles of panels, will do a log cabin effect round the outside.
I am out today visiting ExMil as she has not been too well lately, wont be able to do any sewing today, may be able to do some tomorrow if I can get the dog up in the spare room with me without him bombing into my bedroom and waking OH up (hes on nights for two weeks). Will hopefully be able to get some Barbie dresses cut out too and even may be some dresses for the teddy bears I made. Was going to put them all on a stall but thinking I might give one each out to the girls in the family save buying anything else.0 -

I saw their 70% off jewellery and little bits, plus the Quidco and the 10% off code and decided that the stuff was small enough to store for the year. I still need to get stuff for Husband, Baby Daughter and my nephews, but everyone else is done. I've also put by a stash of baby books because I am now of an age when my friends are starting to reproduce.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76
