Just seen TV advert for Argos, they have an offer on toys (not sure how many - advert bit confusing), said all toys, then small print said between £9.99 and £49.99 3 for 2, and also Chad Valley - did say more details on website.
Apologies its half a story, (as my mother says), - only valid till Tuesday. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Woohoo. Thanks Mum2one.
Legendmum - I'm making a sort of one for mum and stepdad, and another for my dad.
I'm going to put in HM blackberry jam, HM green tomato chutney, HM christmas cake, maybe christmas pud, cherries in liqueur and some HM chocs etc made nearer the time. Might add a bottle of bucksfizz if I feel generous!I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

Hi Legendmum - welcome aboard
In mine I'm putting HM Chutneys - tomato, Christmas (like Branston!), Pear and apple and picalilli, pickled onions, Christmas cake and HM blackberry and apple gin alongside teabags and coffe, cafetiere, and a new boxed set of plates, cups and bowls (you can get a wide selection for a wide price range budget).
Depending on your budget - set it and then search out the bargains and its always better to make one up yourself rather than buy a premade one as the costs are huge in comparisonfinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -

oh and tmobile website have a 25% sale on for 48hrs only if anyone looking for a mob, eldest wants one so going to get a touchscreen for £23 not brill phone but just right for him he is only 12, and he will lose it or break it so at that price is not to bad (still very annoying thou). you do however have to buy a £10 top up when u buy the phone but he needs credit when he opens it anyway so i dont mind that at least its out of wayNeeds a hobby and chat too0 -
Hi everyone
sugarspun - I can't believe how organised you are!! I'm so proud of myself getting sorted early for this Christmas, never mind next year!
fedup - hope you're feeling better, take it easy and don't tackle too much until you're 100%
I bought some cellophane from ebay - really nice one with silvery Christmas stars on it. Also got some florist ribbon and some pull bows to make the hampers with - it all came to about £8 including the P&P so I'm pretty happy with that.
My charity order came yesterday too so I have started to get a proper little pile of stuff going in the corner of the bedroom. OH keeps looking at it with interest... I haven't bought him anything yet though so he can look all he wants :rotfl:
Am so tired, have been to a meeting in Cambridge today so it feels like I've spent the whole day on trains. Think I'll have an early night as OH is away tonight so I get to sleep diagonally across the bed!0 -
