  • Right, just before I log off for the evening

There's a good grabbit thread for Thorntons - £5 for a box of christmas chocolates (456g) reduced from £10. There's a code you can use if you spend £15 to get a free box of some more chocolate (smaller size at 330g) so for £18.95 I have spent £3.95 on delivery and £15 on 4 boxes of Thorntons

Thats all the Christmas chocolates sorted now - nice one!

    Xmas Saver!
Off to Rhyl for the weekend (very exicting!!), taking mum to see Dreamboats and petticoats, so were making a weekend of it. Great plan to hit the market at Tir Prince, see if theres any bargains..... and see if I can get some engraved glasses, last time we found a (Tacky) gift shop, but glasses were 50p shot glass, £1 for wine glass or scotch glass - bubble engraving, but try and get a couple for xmas prezzies.
Once got the next 2 assisgnments done, thats those 2 finished so can start getting sorted for xmas, get rid of the OU stuff from dining room, let dad put the new table up (not bad was mums bday prezzie July), then slowly introduce the xmas things...... xx

  • Morning everyone

fedupandskint - hope you're feeling better

clare - good luck with the Avon stuff

Feeling quite Christmassy after yesterday - went to Sainsburys and they had loads of Christmas chocolates on offer, as well as having all the mince pies out!

Lots of places had cards for sale in town as well as some tags and wrapping paper. Bought a big box of After Eights for £1.42 and some chocolate coins for my sister's Christmas box.

Also noticed that Sainsburys have started doing 'a quarter of' bags of traditional sweets for 50p a bag. Perfect to go in a sweetie jar for a hamper so I bought some white mice and sherbert lemons to make a start!

    :)
  • Thanks for all the goodluck messages!! elysia - would love tips!! Just doing friends and family though, so not doing door to door!

Mr A have had mince pies on sale ALL YEAR!! Which is lovely!!

  • Anyone struggling to find something to put pamper stuff into as a present, how about a weekend away bag?

These red 'christmassy' faux leather bags are down to just £3 today. I've ordered 2 because its free postage over £5 and am going to put my sisters presents of a bath towel and hair products in it. :xmassmile
