Mine made 6 large jars (the Asda curry ones) it would be better in smaller ones, and that way you get loads to give as pressies.
Thank you so much for sharing that recipe. I will give it a go.
Do you think you could leave out the raisins though? I have a real aversion to raisins and sultanas in chutneys.......:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
Afternoon all,
Wow – you’ve all been busy on here this weekend!
Well I’m glad I’m not the only weepy one!! Does it getter better?? Lol
Juliejim – bubbles, great idea thanks! We have some for her already and this weekend she loved watching them! So if we’re getting low by Christmas, I could put one of those in! Thanks.
Susan – I’m appalled at your experience with Sky!!!! OMG! Write it all down, and send letter after letter!!
Elysia – hope you’re feeling better!
Mum2one – love the ‘visitors’ story! Lol
Fedupandskint – We’ve had colds this weekend too. It’s back-to-school-itis! DD doesn’t even go to school!! Lol I’m assuming it’s from last Monday at the child minders when some children came back after not being around for the summer hols…. You take it easy!
Welcome all new people!!
I’ve just started doing Avon! Yikes. Lol Not selling door to door though, I haven’t time for that – just concentrating on friends and work colleagues! Had two orders of £9 so far from friends, and people in work seem interested so fingers crossed. I need to have an order of £78 or something to earn 20%.
Anyway, off to check my Chrsitmas spreadsheet - I'm a bit behind but I feel in control so that's good.

Clare - Good luck from me too regarding Avon
Had to go out to collect the car from the service garage. Dragged myself up there and called in Argos on the way back to collect the Le Creuset Stoneware set for mum. Haven't opened it yet as recovering with a dose of day nurse and a cup of tea. Wish this cold/bug would bug off. Called in Mr S for some emergency provisions eg throat pastilles etc to take to uni tomorrow. I'm going to look pretty rough on that NUS card for the next 2 yrs if I'm the same tomorrow.
Nevermind, its only a cold. Anyway Mr S has big boxes on Black Magic on offer at half price - £3.19 instead of £6.38. Picked one up for mum for Christmas as she used to always get a box of these when I was younger.
Muppets Christmas Carol arrived today ready to watch a bit closer to the big day. Oh yes, Mr S has mince pies on sale now - seen on the end of the aisle.final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Hello all :j
Oh what a numpty I am............:rotfl:Went to physio this morning, did my exercises and she said I was doing so well, looked much better (didn't know I'd looked a bit 'iffy'....?)and there wasn't anything else she could do except tell me to keep up the exercises and do what I've been doing -avoiding anything heavy being lifted etc. I was so thrilled...........came out, popped into one shop and bought a piece of fairly coarse cream material to use for a christmas wall hanger. on to Age Concern......found a wall hanging with alphabet on it with little pockets and little felt things for each letter...........some missing that I'll have to make but I'm stuck on the letter X !! Then got a jumper off £1 rail............one that you pop over another with a big cowel neck..........well, no way can I seem to get the neck to sit right !!
Oh well, maybe foster daughter would like it ? Loads of stuff in other charity shops I nearly bought till I realised it wasn't needed...........got to craft shop and bought 3 sheets of paper (cos I liked them...........lol) and some ribbon................got home and realised I'd forgotten to get ink for printer, wanted to get red check ribbon and didn't, didn't get envelopes to go with notelets I made for my friend, forgot about any chocolates in the co-op, -sure there was something else but can't remember now..................lol:rotfl:I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !
