Hi Everyone, sorry still lurking. I received my boots delivery today (safe gifts that cover a few people). DD's have been shopping in town today and returned with lots of reduced wrapping paper so presents are now wrapped and ready for birthdays and next xmas. I also bought the reduced hat boxes from argos for DD's x 2 and decided to fill with different things in each box eg pj's & slippers in one, toiletries another, chocs another. money/vouchers another etc and stack them up and tie ribbon around them, I am sure they will love these as both are teenagers and really difficult to buy for.0

Hi F_F.
Good to see you here.
Love the Jedi lightsaber fight. Darth Vader is my favourite character.'Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.'
Proud Mummy to two gorgeous miracles.:j0 -

Thanks though I shouldn't take the credit. I read it in a newspaper column a few weeks ago, Vanessa Feltz I think, saying someone had rung into her radio show with the idea. I'm doing mine monthly as that is how our household income comes in apart from CB on 4 weekly and I'll bore you all with the tax credit money some other time -LOL
Out of interest how many children do you have skinray? I saw you post about a DD3 or 4 as well as a DS4 and wondered if it was a typo or not.
I also forgot to mention in Home bargains the other day, I picked up some HSM scrap book about 69p-79p.
Also does anyone know the policy for returning items to Debenhams without a receipt? Mum got my DH a laptop bag as per his request but she mistook 17cm for 17" and it's far too small and she's searched but can't find the receipt. I know I should have asked the other day when I bought in there but at that point I thought mum would find the receipt.
If mum hasn't got the receipt, is there any labels on it that says its a Debenhams product, or has she got bank statement / credit card transaction (bit loose),
Its really upto Debenhams whether they take it back, thou they are usually one of the nicer retailers.
Good luck.
Love the idea of the pocket money, teaches them value.xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -

I would also like to join in too please if im not too late, ive not had too much cash left to get in many gifts for next year. Although ive managed to buy a few gifts at half price from boots and also bought my family and friends cards, 21 cards for £7.00 from greetings 2000 shop. I thought that was a bargain at 3 for £1.00. Ive really enjoyed reading all the posts, and im looking forward to hopefully a stress free christmas 2010 with the help of you all xSealed Pot Challenge no. 0920
