Oh mum2one, you never do things by halves, do you? Smear test, IUD change, and food poisoning all in one week.
I'd like to echo what everyone else has said. I've been on 6 monthly smears for the last 4 years, having previously had treatment in my mid 20's. I may not like smear tests, but it is worth getting them done. 5 mins of discomfort and embarrassment could save your life.
Take care everyone xx
Thank you, theres me moaning about yearly recalls and your on 6months, always rememeber my friend she always used to avoid her smears everything she'd been to the docs, he suggested the smear she always said "time of the month", the one time she went with a sore throat, he asked was it time of the month she said no, he said, thats gd we can do your smear now....This was about 20 yrs ago and we still laugh about it, thou she made me laugh when I was having dd, she'd got her 1st then, I was always avoiding the smears as well, she said once your pregnant and and gone into labour, you just get so use to dropping your knickers its 2nd nature....
Guess we all have our quirks xx
Good news up dressed and eating, xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Hello all :j
Got on fairly well with my de-cluttering today but so far have only thrown one item out in direction of charity shop..............the rest of the 'throw out' stuff was rubbish and I mean rubbish..........why did I have it ????
Did find three enamel signs behind blanket box and forgot they were there.............friend took two and I've kept one..........it'll go on a door that didn't strip very well........might hide a few marks..............lol
Now my shelves are all neat and tidy........got to remember where I put things (labels springs to mind -must stick some on in tasteful fashion)
Tomorrow we'll do a bit more..............really need to go through my canvas storage boxes.........I'm sure there's stuff in them I don't need..................-wondering how long the 'tidiness' will last......................lol:rotfl:I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Many thanks Sarahf191979 and Sarahpowell - I will defo go and have a look in Poundland this weekend - nearest one is in Ellesmere Port about 10 miles away this may help me out x liked the idea of the plates so will hopefully go to Tescos tomorrow afternoon - this could be the answer to my sleepless nights x DD is no longer into HSM but prefers Hannah Montana so unfortunately for me would not appreciate anything with HSM on it - fussy little so and so.
Thanks again for all your help and please keep with the ideas, they really help inspire me to not only be organised (which I love) but help me out as I am not a creative person xx :T:xmastree:0 -
I'm really glad you're up and about Mum2one.

I just got an email from Captain Cash (a cashback site) they are offering a free photo mug from Truprint. It's very nice as it can have upto 15 photos in a collage on it. Only £1.99 postage to pay.
If you're not a member - it may be worth signing up as it's free to join and there are only 5000 available (well, 4999 as I just done mine)
The mug I have just made is the easiest I've ever done - it imported pics from facebook in 2 seconds flat. I'm very impressed and shall use them again.I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

Your Welcome hun
They did have some Hannah Montana stuff in my local home bargins too, cant remember what but definately saw some bits (sorry dont really pay much attention as I have 2 boys:o) they also had a lot of camp rock stuff
Hope you find the things you need, its a nightmare when they want something specific like that, I'm lucky DS2 is a halloween baby so its spooky parties and DS1 would rather go to fankie and bennies for a meal than have a party LOL:rotfl:
A few ideas here

Like the invite one, where you cut the shape of a megaphone, this link even shows you how to make pompoms or as it suggest let the guests make their own, but that depends on the time you have.:D:D:D:D

Hello all :j
De-cluttering continues............today I cleared out three canvas stacking storage boxes, threw out a load of stuff in them I didn't want and rearranged what needs to be in them...........off loaded some bits and pieces to the good kind friend helping me.........so, two corners of this little room done now -plus I can actually see the bed settee. Just bookcase to do now, three more canvas storage boxes at one side of my desk and all the 'stuff' thats in the kneehole part of desk............leaving that till Monday I think...............need a break ! Phew !!:o
OH just had to go for a lie down............thinks he may have a chest infection so appt made for gp Monday. Consultant said to get anti biotics s.a.p if he thought he needed them. Fingers crossed its not and maybe hay fever or somethingI would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Good news up dressed and eating, xx
Oh God yes, when you're pregnant and have given birth, smears are a breeze!! lol
Glad you're feeling a bit metter mum2one - though your sleeping on the toilet did make me laugh. When I was back in Uni and sharing a house, one of the girls fell asleep in the bathroom, with the door locked, and we didn't know til the morning - I had to hammer on the door to wake her up because I was so desperate for the loo! I THINK she was drunk the night before... lol
Mary - hope your OH gets better!
elysia - hope your daughter gets well soon too!
Well, I know this is probably cursing it, but we've had two nights in a row where Bethan has only woken once for food - and the first stretch has been 6 or 7 hours! Everyone please keep your fingers, toes, legs, arms and eyes crossed that this continues! I've forgotten what sleeping a full night without waking feels like! lol
