Have got both kids of school with a viral infection, they are both in bed watching Dr Who, I'm in the middle of sorting out the kitchen and finishing all the little bits of decorating off, have just gone through my draws and thrown a carrier bag full of rubbish out of them, so they are looking a bit more respectable (although I'm sure it wont last)

..... I am also in the process of painting some small drawers to use as box shelves on the wall.

That is such a good idea Janebo! Hope I remember that in years to come....

mum2one - sorry for laughing! hehe Hope you don't have more scares though.
And loved the idea of the strip o gram with the vicar! lol

elysia - don't ignore them, really isn't worth it. Normally the proceedure only takes about a minute, and they've seen it all before!!

Mary - glad you had a lovely time!

Angela - my hubby was the same with the eye puff test, but when he last went to Specsavers (within the last 12 months I think) he didn't have to have it done! The rest of the test yes, but not the air puff!

Well I had a bit of a bargain Saturday - desperately in need of trousers/jeans to bit the bullet and went to the Marks and Sparks outlet not far from us (I'm not keen on clothes shopping!!). With a £25 gift card I was given at Christmas, I bought a pair of bootcut jeans (£15) and two brown linen trousers - hubby tells me off for only buying one of something when a) it's a good price, and b) I love it! lol I always regret it if I don't, so got two. They were reduced to £9.50 each, so only spent £9 of my own money for 3 pairs of trousers/jeans! Not bad! Especially from M&S!

Hope you all had a lovely bank holiday weekend!

    Hello all :j
Well, young lads gone out........meeting with powers that me in an hour (always is when kids arrive) -he refuses to come back for that as he says they're boring (not wrong there)..............lol
Hate meeting mid day -messes up the day but think this afternoon I just might start tidying up this little room I'm in so its not too scary when my friend comes up to help tomorrow..........lol Don't want to put her off.............lol

Well done on your bargin trousers clair, I have terrible trouble getting trousers (I've got small legs so most are about 6 inchs to long:rotfl:) OH always shouts at me too when I only buy one pair he thinks I should stock up when I find a pair I like that fit, never do though and always regret it later too.

Kids are better now so will be in school tomorrow, amazing what some calpol and pirotin can do:D

Still in the kitchen though, just recovered 3 canvas picture with some wallpaper (free sample from wilkos) so have 3 new pics to put up on newly painted wall :j:j and very MSE:D

Mary hope your meeting goes well and good luck with the declutter of your little room if its anything like my table and draws I completly know how you feel:o

Had an email from ebay, free listing at the weekend...... sods law after I did a bulk listing on Sunday.

Fun and games here, I think I have lost a stone in weight overnight........ I've had food poisoning or sickness bug, apparently my dad found me asleep on the loo at 5am this morning......(not a pretty site....)

he was as much help as a chocolate teapot, apparently he went back to bed then realised he'd better tell mum to see if I needed anything...

Thou could neck mum (in the nicest of ways), I was still in bed, she'd rang the gp for a phone consultation, then was busy hoovering incase he came out.... bless him rang and laughed, basically all day yesterday I had hiccups and acid reflex (posh description!!) and all i could taste was hard boiled eggs and I hadn't had any for a week....

So I am on bedrest for today..can't moan sleeping most of it, but have sneaked half an hr for the computer!!

    Hope everyone ok, xx
