Well I had a look on Freebie board and found that bonus print are doing a free photo book, just pay £2.50 pp. I had looked at the hotprint ones but couldnt get the pics I had to fit in with their pages as I had made whole pages up in my Paintshop Pro and wanted just to add these instead of individual photos. Had done the pages A4 size and these books are A5 and you could do them portrait or landscape so did mine portrait and the pics just went straight in. Very happy with the result so thats another gift for OH for his birthday. Think that will be enough for him now.0

What an afternoon, it could only happen to me......... I didn't know whether to laugh or cry.
I'm a big wimp when it comes to "those things", made worse as 10yrs ago I had pre-cancerous cells, had treatment and all clear, but on yearly recalls, so finally 6mths later, went 2day, tied in with swopping my iud..... It took the nurse and the doctor 45mins to just get the smear done, apparently I have an arkward shaped area.......... so got to go to family planning clinic to get the iud done, which they gave me to take away, in a box 18in long, 2in wide..... no carrier bag....
The icing on the cake moment,---- put new pair of knickers on, last of pack of 3, thought the label was itching......it wasn't the label it was the packaging from the knickers, had the doc and nurse it stitches....... xx
I really feel for you on this one as I had pre-cancerous cells also, mine were around 9-10 years ago - got a letter through 2 weeks ago asking me to make appointment for my next test (also on yearly recalls - comes around really quickly doesn't it?).
Hope the doctor and nurse didn't laugh at you too much - it's embarrassing enough without that!Thrifty Gifty February make £20 challenge £21.05/£20.0 -

Hello all :j
Just got back from a week away by the sea and visiting kids and grandkids.................now totally worn out !!!
Got some charity shop bargains while I was away (2 skirts and trousers), load of paper from a craft shop for family tree scrapbooks.......yet more buttons for button necklaces, oblong shape beer mats from one of the pubs I can do something with and some foam sheets for specs cases. Just need to get on and 'do' something now.......................lol
Seems like you've all been busy while I've been away:jI would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Mary, glad you had a nice time away (without any disasters I hope)
Mum2One, that was a funny story, hope you are ok.
Yesterday I went to a Jack in the Green procession and popped into a few shops, bought a box of 60 Christmas cards for 99p, very tempted to buy few boxes for future years but as they were sealed up I couldn't see the quality. Good job I didn't buy more as a few of the designs were a bit odd although I might be able to add glitter or something to them. Mind you the rigid card box they are in is very nice (opens like those boxes for index cards) so will be useful.
Anyone started on their Magic challenge for the month?0 -
Hello all :j
Angela - lovely time and no disasters !!!! Makes a change for me...............:rotfl:
Unpacked now and washing churning away in the machine...........have to sort out my bits and pieces I got and see what goes where and what to do today that doesn't involve housework (though duster wouldn't go amiss..............lol)
Haven't started the Magic Challenge........haven't finished previous one yet...............oh shame on me...............lol:rotfl:I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

I'm the same I hate going, can't tell you off, as I was due last November.......
I now have the appointment with the family planning clinic to get my iud done, (otherwise flood for England). Sure someones getting their revenge for me not going.
Joke this - put it in with next months challenge.
Joking aside, plz plz go, its 2mins of time, (unless ur me -don't do things by half, and don't do what my friend did, didn't realise that she hadn't taken the price tag of her new knickers, only for the nurse to find it while down there!!)
Your not the first and you won't be the last not to go, thou I think how lucky I was when mine was caught in time, do hope eventually there put it back to 3 yrs but fingers crossed. I'll be honest what gave me a kick in the rear to go, a girl I use to go to school with, lost touch as you do, shes got son in same class with dd, were back intouch, she lost her sister 3 weeks ago, with cervical cancer, guess make us humble.xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0
