    Hello all :j
mum2one -thank goodness the challenge isn't hard work.........haven't finished the last one yet.............lol

Taking a break from trying to sort out what clothes to pack for tomorrow............think I'm gonna have to go shopping when I get there.............lol Thought I'd got more sweatshirts than I have (must have had an 'over-declutter' last year:() Cardigan, just in case (bound to need at least one - couple of sweatshirts and jumper plus pullover fleece -I do feel the cold.........;)
Back still giving me jip...........going to see GP when I get back I think.
Keep busy while I'm away..........I'm back next Sunday by then I'll be having 'puter withdrawal' symptoms...................lol:rotfl:

Did try to be gentle with the challenges, lot easier as Miss Hoodie wasn't allowed to help.......

Hope u have a gd time away, is this the Devon visit, or the one to your sons.

I seem to do one and the other one gets trashed, then the first one again - it is a never ending circle :rotfl:

I know just exactly how you feel. LOL

Definitely want to get some me time in again - DH was so sweet the other night - I went upstairs and he had run me a bath and put candles all around - he even bought me a magazine to read! It was really nice! Must do that one again.

How lovely of him to do that - now I'm jealous.

OH getting on my nerves lately. Probably because he had a week off and less than a week later it's his turn for a long weekend off. Will have to get him back to work, or out of the house asap, before I scream! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Thanks for the nice gentle challenges Mum2one. I might be able to manage these ones. Never did get around to sorting out DD2's room. It's not messy as such. Just a big pile of ironing that's getting more and more creased (I do hate putting it away!).

Still haven't used my £20 for my treat, but I feel some retail therapy coming on!:rotfl:

I will have to make a start on that cross stitch this month, It'll be nice sitting out in the garden doing it. I may even get it done before Christmas if I start now. :D

Have a nice afternoon everyone. Let's hope the showers forcast for the next few days doesn't spoil anyone's plans.

Have a lovely week off Mary. I hope we find your back is OK, and you are nicely rested when you return. xxx

We're chaotic here, the baby's about to start crawling and we have to babyproof IMMEDIATELY. Plus Husband may be getting a promotion which means we'll be moving, which relieves me a lot because it means decluttering on a grand scale and more space as well. I hope everyone's doing well here?

Hi Sugarspun!! Good to hear from you! Hope the baby proofing goes well!! lol

mum2one - Thanks! Will have to look over past challenges me think...

Well I've bitten the bullet and joined Quidco, and I THINK I'm in £50 profit already!! Wow! Trouble is it'll all have to go towards stopping us getting in bad financial trouble during the next few months while still on maternity leave!

Sorted another Xmas present today, I was going to get my Dad a digi photoframe but the one I could afford was only a small one and he said the other day he wanted to get himself a large one he could hang on the wall. Well we just found one on Amazon that he likes, was quite expensive, £109 but I paid £30 with my Amazon vouchers and he paid the rest so thats his Xmas present early.

While ladies I've had a bright idea, a mini challenge, but guess what we're not doing it...... the men in our lives, be that hubby, bf, or in my sad single life!! daddy darling (thats when I want something).

Find that store cupboard, his junk cupboard and get him to tidy it.......

The idea came from I had to go to the store cupboard in the shed, where all the toilettries etc are kept, had to hunt round for washing tablets - typical man they weren't were he said....... theres was cobwebs on cobwebs, rust on rust, dust on dust....... so he's been told to clear it otherwise he'll be doing the wshing!!

Oh dear....I think I might skip this one, you see, in our house when lovely DH clears out his spaces - all the carp ends up piled in mine!!! I need to get our study tidied this weekend ready to start, well, studying, and he fancies doing the garden, so perhaps I will adapt your hubby obedience task and just get him to help me :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Have got my first couple of Christmas presents - there was a good post on the grabbit board with free delivery code for M&S and there is some great jewellery in the sale so got some for my mum.

Not much to report on this side of things really, had a sort out of my gifts yesterday and put them all away a bit tidier and with things for each person put together instead of just all in one box. Now have three boxes full lol. At least they are up on top of my wardrobes and they have teddies sitting in front of them. Only got to sit there another 8 months.

Need to go up town to get a parcel this morning, didnt hear them knock yesterday even though I was in the next room. Hoping it is another of my gifts arriving but think it is more than likely some sewing bits I ordered to make things with.

Have started on another quilt but this time its for me. Have not got all the fabric yet for it but have enough to start the centre piece. I am using red, black and cream fabrics all with metallic gold patterns on them, looks very luxurious what I have so far. Taking my time over it as the fabric is quite expensive and dont want to ruin any of it. Still at least I have my lovely new sewing machine to use for it which is a dream.
