Thank you, she was deadly serious, when I was chatting with dad earlier, him and mum had said if it had just been her going (shes early 50s), then they would of told me to go, and they'd look after Miss Hoodie (we live with them).

Just wait and see what happens.

    xx

Happy Birthday mum2one. Hope you have a nice day.

It will be mine next week and OH keeps asking what I want to do and I dont know lol. We usually go out to a town somewhere and have a wander round the shops and have a bit of lunch but will have to see what the weather is like. Also daughter is off school so she can come with us but she dont like shopping with adults lol. I said to him why dont you just surprise me so may be he will.

Mum2One - glad you had a good time at the pub .....whole bottle of wine LOL, wonder if you need  sunglasses today?

Mary, thinking of you, having to do an emergency sewing box. This morning, just before going out son tells me his cycling shorts have holes and need sewing up and is asking for my sewing stuff as he will do it. Well everything is in a bag at the back of the sofa, and all geared up for me, not anyone else. So decided to make a small box to keep in a central place, so it's easy to find. No covering tubs today, just in a plastic see through box so will be easy to find.

Happy belated birthday to Mum2One - hope you had a great day, it sounded nice.

Also, birthday wishes in advance for Rufus as I won't be around next week (when is it?).

Raven, welcome back - we've just started the new challenge last week, so take a look at the first couple of posts to find out - Mum2One and Miss Hoodie have been nice to us this month :D

My mum bought me a notebook as part of my birthday pressie the other week, so I spent around an hour writing in everybody's birthdays, Easter, Christmas and other events - who I have to buy for and what I've bought so far. Hopefully, I will remember to take it with me when I go out and about so I know who I still have to get for.

BTW, if anybody is interested Sports Direct are doing Golddigga jackets today only for £8 - would love to get them for my nieces, but have to be good at the moment and not spend too much. They are reduced from around £49-£59 so great bargain!
Thrifty Gifty February make £20 challenge £21.05/£20.
