Phone people rang me this afternoon..........had to take out battery and sim card, then replace it, then switch phone back on, then go to network and do it 'manual'.......made not a hapeworth of difference......bloomin thing.Told them I'll give it till Monday and if there's no difference I'll cancel contract. So, have toured vodafone site and got more confused than ever.............

mary op - i know how you feel, my partner wants a phone thats compact, rings loud, alerts you loudly when you have a text. and big enough font to read

    and nothing else.

we went in 3, orange , v02 , odaphone, t-mobile &&& and they didnt know, they wouldnt even switch them on for him to see,

he rang the helpline, waste of time, they dont even speak english, he told them to stop reading from a script and listen, waste of time, in china they do "seniors" phones.

he could do with one of them....lol:T:rotfl::rotfl:

Mary and Susan - I have a really basic mobile (which I never use, emergency only) so they are around if anyone is looking for one. When I bought it the man in the shop had to show me how to switch on, make a call, and he was very patient LOL

susan - put 'senior mobile phones' in your search engine and there's one comes up...........tis a bit big though -must admit I wouldn't want it -not yet a while anyway.

angela.............what sort did you get ? I've trawled round phone sites and they all seem to be 'all singing and dancing' ones.............all different sorts of ways to text..........-mind boggles
