    rufusdog, thank you! :j
I have been wondering how on earth to cover a pen, didn't even think of buying these (d'oh!) Don't buying a few either as I can use them for other birthdays, so it will work out quite cheap per pen!
I've been looking for pictures of Edward on google- he really is gorgeous, I was so busy staring at him I was nearly late picking my son up from school :o
I had a look at the fanfiction link nickybo- was trying to copy and paste into word without reading too much as I've only just read the first book and didn't want to spoil the others for myself (yes, I know, I'm way behind!). Got quite carried away making a cover for it and everything!
I can see myself becoming as obsessed as my sister at this rate :D

Both my sister's and DD1 are totally, totally obsessed. I'm definately going to have to buy that apple necklace off Etsy, that Jamtart posted.

LOL @ you FED almost missing school. I don't do that - much! :rotfl:

To change the subject, while I was in Asda yesterday I saw a Wii game that's the same as that stupid TV show with Richard Hammond. The OH and the kids love it. Anyway, the game was £10, reduced from £22.00, reduced from £30.00.

I left it on the shelf as I wanted to check I couldn't get it anywhere else cheaper or with cashback. (Getting the hang of it now!) After checking - it is £30 everywhere else. So practically ran to Asda this morning as it was the last one, only to find I'd left my purse at home. Doh! I had to hide the case behind some toys incase anyone else bought it before I got back.

The SA said he had wanted to buy it later today if it was still there! so Phew. £20 saved. Result!!! :D

  • Hi everyone.

Chuffed with my recent purchases. Managed to get a gorgeous mac coat from the Debenhams sale for £10.00 can't quite believe my luck, haven't told hubby yet though. Today I bought a hello kitty backpack and two sets of jeans for DD from M&S sale for £9.00, used the credit I had n my account so cost £0.00 and quidco seems to be tracking at £0.45 so I made a profit!

so far I seem to be only £50.00 off money neutral for over £800 worth of items, costing around £200. Very happy about that, will make it up on dooyoo I think.

Hubby is getting annoyed as he keeps finding bags full of Christmas stuff and presents everywhere :rotfl:

    Hello all:j
Can't scroll back to see who said what as since bashing my knee yesterday I can only sit in one position here for a short time.
Really thought I'd end up at A & E again - was in bed at 8pm last night but after a bit of moving the leg about this morning I attempted coming down the stairs..........not easy so do it on my backside for now......going up -one step at a time..............lol
Still, managed to walk about the house all day on and off, made some envelopes to fit some notelets I'd made, wrote some letters and got Easter cards all written and ready to go.:j
Now I'm off to grab a comfy bit of sofa and hope I can sit long enough to watch Silent Witness:o
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

    MASSIVE SAVING

Now she thinks be a nice idea for dd and me to do a 60 box, she's more like family, hense the expensive presents!!

So far for the 60 box, raided some spares from the 2nd Soap and Glory Box, got that in Boots sale, reckon we've put half the box in (£10), so weekend when we sort the boxes see if theres anything else we can add.

Thou mums paying.... she was expecting to pay £60 for a locket, so said put the difference towards the box.

For the basket, we're using one from the BHS tea/coffee hamper that was reduced to £4.00 - we had the contents - they've got a log fire and the basket would fit in place.

Will add more details when finished xx

Was getting my food shop this morning and noticed peacocks had a 70% sale on, so got 3 tshirts and a shirt at 3pounds each reduced from 12, so I'll put them in the cupboard for fil and bil's birthdays that are coming up - hee hee may well leave the tags on too!!! again ! running out of room to put all this stuff, working on getting cards and paper in too at the moment as I always have to run out last minute for those kinds of things - need to get a monthly file and get all my cards in that I'll need like some people do - fab idea.

IT FEELS GREAT TO BE ORGANISED:D

have to have a look at Peacocks, see if theres anything for fathers day, and dd,
What I do with the folder for cards, use a cheap A4 file, get the plastic thingies, that go inside, use a sticky tag on each one - for each person and at the start of the file have a print out of the birthdays for the year, if anyones having a special bday (18, 21 etc) just put a note bit of paper and use paperclip. Put the file in bedrom out of way.

Also do a spare print off of the bday list and stick it in kitchen cupboard so got one upstairs and 1 downstairs. x
