helen - thanks. I;d thought of a kneeling pad (don't know why I forgot it..........lol)
Seed sticks are a good idea for her and I think we've got quite a few little pots kicking around that we don't need.
I found an apron I'd got in either a decorating pack or gardening pack -don't know which now but I'm sure it'd do for gardening -pocked for little tools etc. Just remembered I've got a little trowel and fork as well, plus some gardening gloves. Like the water spray idea.......plus string.......we use a lot of that.
Think I'll google 'trug' and see what comes up......:o

    Hi all,

Mary, glad you are better. I can empathise after having a fish-bone dilemma and I've never eaten it since. It can seem very scary at the time.

mum2one, re the mini challenge, the only story I have is that about 5 years ago I discovered a box in the loft I didn't know was there and inside I found a letter from a b/f in my single days. I presumed it must have been an old love letter, however it wasn't!

I was totally stunned and horrified when I read it. How embarassing.

He had been writing to ask me to have him back after I dumped him when he lost his job and for 4 sides of paper he was listing the amounts of money he spent on dates with me, even going through all his savings! I think I ought to change my user name to Gold Digger!

    Xmas Saver!
    Hi mum2one and everyone else.

Had a successful day today. Both my dining room and lounge are now offically de-cluttered and tidy(ish). what with that added to kitchen downstairs is looking pretty good, even if i do say so myself!! (just noone go in utility room aaaaaahhh!)

You can come and do my kirchen if you want to!!

Sorry mum2one that i'm not sticking totally to your challenges, but like i previously said, i'd already done kids rooms, then did do jans finances (wow they were scarey), and didn't want to waste the rest of the month!!

Don't be daft, I pile them on and say use them like a pick and mx, one month you might need the lot, the next just the one.
We are going to be eating some mixed up meals as i do want to defrost the freezer, then i will feel as though i'm properly joining in!!

Also sold items on ebay today and raised £34 odd, of which £12.01 for one item is being collected in a bit. Made a spreadsheet up of how much profit i'm making (after ebay and paypal costs are deducted) and whats in paypal and whats in my ebay envelope. Then when i have recylced enough to buy myself a new sofa bed, if hubby has used paypal for him or children i have a record of what he needs to replace!! sounds harsh, but he has an expensive hobby of collecting old manual arcade games, with most coming from ebay!!

You've done well with ebay, gd for you with the book, bet hubby thinking he could get away with it all!! xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

    Hello all :j
Can;t think of a romantic date as such that involves money but my OH buys me flowers every week, has done for years.........I ooze thankyous etc. and he just says ''well they were cheap !'..................lol Sometimes they're that cheap I get two bunches.........:rotfl:

Seems to be my week ...........after near choking incident, young girl comes up today to hoover and what do I do ? Trip over the hoover wire..........talk about aching knees..................lol
Still, on the plus side.........I've finished off the felt bunny on the littlle gift box I made..........messing about with blue noses and all sorts cleaning girl said the brown one looked best with some lighter brown thread for whiskers.............even OH approved -so thats that done.
Just need white flannels now to do a flannel rabbit.

Googled for trugs last night and found one on amazon for £9.99 (think it was amazon) -was cheapest I could find unless I forage round the second hand shops here and see if there are any about. Expect if there are they'll be the old ones with a price tag out of my reach.
Oh well, we'll see...........got till the end of March

The only thing I can think about containing money is when OH and I had our first date he said not to expect fancy meals etc as he wasn't in to things like that. He promptly went and bought me a hot-dog!!!

I should have run away while I had the chance - he's still a bit tight, careful some would say - but he's getting better!!!

I remember when I went out with a boy, on getting in the car, he said, you pay the petrol, I`ll get the meal, I agreed.
We went to see a car rally where it was free to watch, it cost £30 in petrol and he brought sandwiches and a flask, i was frozen, thought we were going to a restaurant.

I lkie cars, but would have liked some advanced warning

Can I pick everyone's brains for a minute?
For my sister's birthday in March have decided to do a twilight hamper- any ideas??? She has the books and the dvd so it's little extras really. There are a few bits on play.com but want to get as much as I can for £20/30. Know some of you are fans so hope you can help?!!

Twilight - I've seen keyrings, bags, posters, figures and bracelets no idea how much they cost.
