    Hi

I am unsure if it has been aleady mentioned but using the microsoft on-screen keyboard has security benefits as your keystrokes cannot be logged. So it is

Start > Run > then enter OSK

After the new newsletter I clicked the free Protection link and downloaded the Spybot to block adware ( I have already got AVG free), but it is not free. When i came to the stage of having to register it wanted a "One off " payment

You haven't got AVG free then have you! see here

  • I have AVG free, that's fine but needing an adware blocker I followed the link in the current newsletter. This lead to Spybot which I downloaded then they wanted payment to get a registration code in order to start it off. Jo

  • Thanks for that. but can i use kerio on a business use laptop? if not what do you suggest? Would i also need Spybot etc. i have received loads of spam e mail on my home e mail. Got windows XP and its a new clean Dell .
  • Hi - You seem to know your way around computers. I got somebody to overlook at my computer and get me all I needed.:D
I find myself completly lost in terms of ad-aware, spybot and any others.

I have Ad-aware SE which should by a clic connect and update itself, it's not doing it, I get "error retrieving", no other explainations, there is nothing more annoying!
I went into the lavasoft website, through the link you've indicated. I found a free update, but then it asks me to choose the offer, I don't want any offers! if it is a free usdate why should I pay for anything else?
I also have Spybot and AVG which work fine:T .
I scan my C: drive pratically every weeks, I find and destroy, clean and defragment, unfortunatly my computer is always extremelly slow.
    Any tips?
