  • Hello Everyone

I have ebayed quite a bit of clothes ..... due to weightloss : ) Im really happy as I found laods of old clothes which arent my style anymore so ebayed them adn now just gone through my wardrobe being really strict withmyself and got another pile for ebay and a pile for charity : )

Please can I add some of the money to my total to boost it as I used some of it to replace the things I ebayed - just different sizes! if that makes sense?

Although I wont make a habit of it as I do have loads to ebay and would prefer to use the money towards other treats.I have enough clothes now unless my diet goes ultra-well!

So my new total will be £85.87

    Hope everyones doing okay.

Our charity shops are pretty rubbish too! It's either rather expensive or just junk - or both!

I am also going to have several NSDs this week as I am going to basically be at home from Monday night through til maybe Friday or Saturday if not even Sunday!! That £440 PAYG iPhone will be mine ASAP.

    Hello lovelies,

well done with your ebay profits chuggington :A Happy New Clothes :jto all who have them & excellent restraint :D to those who havent.

Weight loss remains my main target as regards clothes. I have so many & really enjoy being creative & putting new outfits togethr from what I have, but I just dont have the confidence to wear with flair until yet.

I still believe that keeping away from temptation is the easiest way to avoid spending. I'm lucky in that I can do my grocery shopping without going near clothes, shoes, bags or accessories so will try very hard to only go into town once a month & then I can spend my £7.83 or however much I've earned :rotfl:

Off to update totals, bye for now

    xx

    Hi everyone

Just been catching up on last week's posts - haven't managed to get on here much as I've had a busy week at work.

Loads of bargains being had (as usual) and some serious overspending going on (Blondie, you know who you are!!!!). Well done to everyone for shopping in their wardrobes and/or altering things they already have - we're all becoming inventive again.

I've still spent nothing because, although I have been round the shops:
    a) I can't find anything I like
    b) as someone else said, it's too flippin' cold to be changing in changing rooms:eek: and I don't do online shopping..

Luxor, chair is definitely still on offer as wardrobes still need sorting out..

Have a good rest of the weekend everyone, stay strong and RESIST THOSE BARGAINS ... THINK ABOUT SUMMER, YOU'LL NEED SOME CLOTHES THEN...

Hi everyone , well i'm working today and so I can safely say my Clothes spending for January will be £0.00 !!! How pleased am I.

Unfortunatley my favourate bra is at risk of becoming a front opener and has been binned. However I do have loads of others so i don't need to rush out and buy another. Indeed whilst I was rooting through my 3 :o underwear drawers I found a couple of wonderbras still with tags that i don't remember buying.

Thanks for this thread , it helping me keep focused - even when i am in coast and monsoon !

  • Having 2 pairs of trousers altered to fit instead of buying new ones. They will be okay to wear for Spring then.
  • having decluttered my wardrobe a couple of weeks ago and taken four black bin bags to the charity shop I am still left with
    37 tops
    four coats
    four jackets
    9 pairs of trousers,
    4 'posh going out outfits
    5 skirts,
8 pairs of shoes five pairs of slippers
1 drawer full of knickers (around 20 pairs )
6 bras (had a good throwout of my pre mastectomy bras)
    14 pairs of socks
    8 nighties
    4 pairs of pyjamas
    2 dressing gowns
    6 swimsuits
so I think I can safely say I will not be buying ANY clothes in 2010
    Yay :):):)
