Is it cheating to ask if I can join from February onwards!?
Given I've mostly spent the budget in January alone  . Justifying it to myself by saying it was christmas money, sales and charity shops! But charity shops are difinitely my weakness! I need to start buying what I need only!
Spending diary started yesterday but I reckon I need more than that to keep me on the wagon0 -
Afraid to admit I've also bought skirt £9 and cardi £5.40 in sales. No buying now till summer sales. Have not been in clothes shops at all but find it to hard to resist the online bargains. (£78.60 left). In my defence I do wear the clothes to work sometimes too although I usually wear a uniform (excuses!).0

I bought my first item of clothing for the year yesterday. I was trying not to buy anything in Jan but its so cold in work I had to buy a warm jacket. I found a lovely Next one in Oxfam so my fleece jacket cost me just £3.99 - bargain!!!:T I wore it to work today and it was lush!Nerd No. 12452014 Challenges:Attempting to snowball to freedom!0

Ooh sarahangel, have never thought of towelling slippers before! Silly me. The ones I was on about are here, sort of vintage looking.
I'm gonna have a go at these, I have some lovely black polka dot material which would be perfect!!
My next project is a pill box hathttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E7ADk96d8Qc
Niksyg - I hope fabric doesn't count because I would have used my most of my budget by now!!
Swinstie73 - after I read your message I hot-footed off up the shop for chocolate but ended up sewing most of the evening so didn't eat any of it but it is now residing in my sewing box, which is the only place the old man and the girl will not look, for such bad day emergencies!!
I have been strong, thanks for your vibes Rosemary54, hoping the vibes stay with me tomorrow as I venture into town!!!Virtual Sealed Pot 2013 #41 - £69.27OJ born 25/01/110 -

Hello & welcome to niccatw & el1234 :hello:
It's never too late to join the crazy clothes challenge
Happy New Clothes to all including me
Oh yes, DD had an inset day today & I had payday so we headed off to town for a shopping extravaganza. First stop was Primarni where I spent a rather naughty £13 on a very nice dress for work ( bit tight round the booty so will need to be very strict with dieting now) & another £11 on a long cardi/jacket to go over the top until said booty shrinks a few inches :rotfl:.
Now, I know I said I wasnt counting work clothes in my £100, but I did decide that I would allow myself another £100 for work stuff as I only started office job in november last year & had very few clothes to wear. So, although I'm not updating the front page I am still going to declare on posts. So I now have £76 left out of my work clothes allowance & for the record I estimate that I will need a couple of pairs of cropped linen type trousers for the warmer weather & maybe a couple more blouses. I do have a few suitable tops but I'm at risk of exposing my 'assets' if worn at the moment.
As to actual Clothes Challenge spending then I declare £5 on a lovely pink long line cardi.
I am sorry if I'm being a bit harsh on you all, I do already have a year s experience of doing this & have probably forgotten how hard it is to break those habits.
I just really want everyone to succeed & realise that you are all FABULOUS whatever your outward appearance.
Keep forgetting to say to Flickering Ember how sorry I am to hear about your redundancy, Really hope you find something else soon.
Fairysnow - amazing ebay result - WELL DONE

Maybe this challenge isn't right for you. I've suscribed to this thread and it's really inspiring but I'm not joining the challenge as it's an unrealistic goal for me. I could easily give up alcohol for a year as I rarely drink but clothes no.Blonde_Ambition wrote: »Yes, it's really hard. Especially as I convince myself that it's best to buy things in the sale so that when I need a posh dress or whatever, I have it already in my wardrobe instead of having to buy it full price!
I pretty much make it a rule never to buy things at full price

I spent 50p on a pair of trousers from a charity shop this week, so can you update my figures please? Total spent in January now is £1.50 out of £100.
Thank youKeep Calm and Carry On Kondoing

January's nearly over & I'm not shopping this weekend so I can safely say my £100 is still intact.:DDMP member 343 :T
