hi all, i'm really struggling i have a longline black cardigan which i wear with jeans when i'm in shoots but being on hands and knees its seen better days. I've not had it long (got it in a sale at sainsburys) but does anyone know how to revieve knitwear?? I keep seeing this one in asda for £10, but i always find supermarket clothes have no longevity!! and i'm trying to be good! Any tips before i spend 10% of by budget!!0

Fairysnow, how about you redye it; just buy some Dylon dye and follow the instructions? I don't think the dye would count as part of the budget?0

Fairysnow, what's the yarn mix on your cardie? If it's acrylic or other synthetic, then it won't take dye as acrylic is a plastic fibre and the dye is part of the extruded filament, not added on top of the yarn, IYSWIM. If the shape is going, you could always try re-blocking it to get it back into shape. If it's getting worn, then your options are either patches (available in haberdashery stores) or darning it, which quite frankly is a skill in itself and not one many people know now."All cruelty springs from weakness" - Lucius Annaeus SenecaPersonal pronouns are they/them/their, please.

niksyg, how lovely! Free clothes are always good. My sister regularly sends down clothes packages (she impulse buys and never returns stuff which doesn't fit) but they never fit - the 8-inch height difference might have something to do with that?"All cruelty springs from weakness" - Lucius Annaeus SenecaPersonal pronouns are they/them/their, please.
