Hi keys, & welcome back :hello:
will add you to the members list in a minute.
Well done on getting back to £100 Niksyg :T
I was going to take some stuff to a charity shop today & also have a look for any bargains but ... one of those charity collections bags has just popped through the letterbox so I'm going to put the stuff in there instead & thereby avoid any possible temptation at all
I dont work friday's & they used to be my wandering around & shopping for treats days ... this morning I took DD to school, came home & decided to deep clean the kitchen & bathroom instead - oh the joy :rotfl:0 -
I have had my eye on a camisole all week they are my passion. them and long skirts. it was £14.95 reduced to £5.95 so it is very tempting. I'm just not sure what to do.0

Is it very different to ones you've got already? Would you get lots of use out of it? Would you feel better for buying it or for resisting it?Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
Oooh sign me up please!! I usually shop in charity shops for clothes or supermarkets (for undies, tights etc) but still sometimes buy more clothes than I need. This will help me focus on what I really NEED.
I will include work clothes too until such time as I find another stable job (facing redundancy but have lots of office type clothes already that I could wear to start with and need to make sure I don't buy clothes just using a possible new job as an excuse).
So far this year I have spent £0working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
Thank you Lula-Hula and Souk08 - I have ordered The Trinny and Susanna book off playtrade for £2 - any excuse to buy a book!August Shopping Challenge. 26/8. Budget £250 Spent £256.81.. £6.81 over. So £0.00 a day left.0

I'd like to be added to this please.
I haven't done a challenge on here before. I decided end of 09 that 2010 was the time to make a real dent into my debt. I'm fed up with it- I'm 26 now and want to be able to afford to do grown up things like buy a house (I rent at present).
I have worked out that I can clear my debt by October 2012 if I'm a good girl!
This will be a real challenge - when I'm bummed out I tend to hit topshop with the debt card  (not a store card though, I'd like to add, always managed to resist those)
Running off to create a signature...Credit card 3486.05, O/D 1 £1527.66, O/D 2 £751.43, O/D 3 £686.61 - Jan 2010
Loan repayments finish Oct 2011
Aim for 2010 - reduce debt (exc loan) from 6451.75to 3929.09

Hi everyone :hello:
Back at work today and obviously had subconscious shopping withdrawal symptoms as I went out to lunch with good intentions and came back with a brand spanking new pair of black leather ankle bootsThey were a bargain though (how many times have we heard that before?!) and reduced from £69.99 to £20.99, way to go!!
Anyway, as I'm including all my fashion purchases in this challenge, I'd best declare! Updated sig for all to see
Have a good afternoon y'all

Hello everyone
I confess - I've caved in and bought a gorgeous pair of leather work shoes in Office sale - justified by the thought that potential employers will be impressed by my fabulous footwear (not sure if anyone else really notices other people's shoes, it might just be me!) Updated signature - a whole £15 already.
Oh! If anyone could come along with a mind-wipe and convince me that I've never heard of Etsy, that would be appreciated too... :rotfl:... that site is a nightmare of cute and kitsch for someone on a budget!"All cruelty springs from weakness" - Lucius Annaeus SenecaPersonal pronouns are they/them/their, please.

Hi All, well the no spend vibes worked- I didn't buy a single thing, even though a pretty top almost tempted me- but I didn't need it. Alas there was nothing for the wedding, but I've got another month before I need to really start looking!Debt free 11/05/11!
Savings £4000/ £3000
