Plus thanks to this thread there is nothing in my ironing pile and all of my clothes are hanging neatly in my wardrobe.
*slovenly habit alert* This is the first time the ironing pile has been empty in nearly a year
:o (double embarassed face)
It made me realise how many of my clothes I don't really even like and just bought because they were cheap! Had a real urge to buy some smart grey trousers today, to replace a pair I have practically worn out. Went to Matalan straight from work, but then realised I didn't have any cash or cards, except 90p! Had a look around anyway, but couldn't see anything.
So....I thought I could quickly pop to M&S to see if they had any. But I managed to distract myself, and, as an antidote, phoned my mum for a chat.

Hi everyone,
I've not been around much, the whole house has been ill with one thing or another, which is not very good for our health ... but ... means that i haven't been to the shops :j or out to lunch, so i still have my £100 :j
I have dd's 3rd birthday party on Sunday and have resisted the urge to buy a new outfit, it's only a few friends and family but usually I wold have spent £60 on clothes. I keep looking at my wardrobe longingly hoping that my fairy godmother will place a new outfit in there for me ..nothing yet, the silly cow must have forgotten about me :rotfl:
Have asked for clothes for dd's birthday so that should keep her going for a while, and my mum and nan tend to buy both dd's a top or piece of clothing every other week from supermarket so i still have their fund intact.
I am feeling quite happy about this and am determined not to buy any clothes for the next 4 weeks nowStop trying to keep up with the Jones, as they're trying to keep up with the Smith's0 -

Actually, am I myself anymore???

You're still you, just The New You! :T

Hello I did this challenge latst year or a similar one and would love to do it this year as I felt it really helped and I did it ....yeah

So please can you add me to the list ???
I will be doing it for myself for £100 this year and £200 for my 3 year old , as she grows out of clothes so easily and her shoes and school uniform seem to add up so I think I will have hers to more than mine
I have absoloutley tons of clothes to get rid of out of our wardrobes so it will make me focus on getting rid of them on Ebay and car boots so I can buy new ones whilst also de cluttering - { which I also desperately need to do :eek: }
I plan really to not spend £100 this year on clothes , yet I have some vouchers lying around so I am going to get them together and try and buy as much as I need for the next few months with them so I hopefully wont spend anything . Will see thow as I love looking for a bargain ....and Primark seems to be a killer for me sometimes as all the under a fiver bargains add up when I get to the till ....lol
