  • Aww Merry Christmas rosemary - hope you had a lovely day yesterday with the whole family:)

:TBig thanks to Lula for setting up the challenge what a star, and you can put me down for the same budget as last year - I just love this challenge!

    £100

That will do nicely me thinks - In fact since this challenge has proved to myself that I can keep within a budget - and that I prefer to have a "annual" total rather than a "monthly" one I wonder if I could use this kind of "saving" in maybe another challenge? Maybe the grocery one next or the toiletries one?

Hmmmm might have to have a peek over on those challenges in a while....anybody else already partake in these?

Plus I have to empty my boutique drawers this week and go through more shirts- I Know for a fact I have not worn some in a couple of years so off to "chuck ebay keep "

Hi all, hope you had a good christmas!

Been a while since i was last one and guess what i still have £35 left from the challenge. I ended up spending lots of money on thermal socks ahem.

    What it was snowing !!!!!!!!!

Anyways i cheerfully threw the remaining cash at one of my many credit cards :D. So yes i resisted temptation of the sales. So proud of myself lol

So please could you put me down for next years challenge £100 for 2011.

All the best for next year! xxx

  • Hi Lula,
I'm afraid that I went MIA during the summer months and stopped counting :o I don't think I was much over as most of the stuff I bought was second hand. Would like to give it a go in 2011, that is if you'll have me :o

    Hello Lula and all

Blimus - I was with you all the way when you were MIA! I was sooo busted so early on! :D

And I generally only ever buy clothes in charity shops! So it's bad!

I think I need to break up my budget! I need to separate work from play from exercise from speical ocassions!

Though so far, I have no weddings to go to in 2011. :j (Unless Wills and Kate have one in the post :rotfl:) so the special ocassions should be so much less than 2010!

I think I'll break it down to Work and Play though at £100 each and see how it goes. Here's hoping I make a few more months this year :D :rotfl:
