Lula-Hula, good luck with the weight loss, are you thinking wii dance or another method? I can recommend the shred in terms of results... I mentioned the new cocktail frock to friend, who is thinking of having her house warming on a cocktail 80s theme now, just so we can both excuse the amount of evening dresses we own!
noynoy - I always wish I could adjust things, but never seem to work it out - any tips?
Another spend to declare - £2.49 on an m&s autograph top, muted grey and pink print, silky, with a !!!!! (little cat - how funny it has been blacked out!) bow neck. Vintage enough looking for me, and is quite long so think I can wear it a number of ways. What I really, really need however are some decent jeans as my black ones are not only grey but now a bit baggy due to weight loss (see what I mean about the shred lula-hula?), so will be trying to seek out some suitable ones over the next week within budget !

Rosemary - what's going on  are you a reformed character :rotfl:
NO!just not seem anything I like at a price I like recently:rotfl:
went to work today and saw a girl in a Kew skirt I had wanted and dismissed as not needing!!!!She looked great in it(BUT she is a lot slimmer than me:rotfl:)
I only ever buy when sales on/coupon off.
did buy a t-shirt a couple of weeks ago but did not confess as sooooo over my limit any way(it was in a sale)
had a throw out recently as charity bag time.a couple of weeks later I thought I would wear my long gren coat as it was acold night and walking to a friends.........forgot it was one of the items I threw out as not worn for so long:rotfl:
I had thought about a long dress for Christmas but there are hardly any in the shops so may have to wear my old ones(so unfair men can wear the same suit to black tie events for years but ladies cannot wear the same old dress:(0 -
2 dresses bought from ebay £8.71 including delivery bargain!
re tips about adjusting i rarely do anything mad but i just usually put some darts in maybe at the sides and also frount if its very bigtotal debt 4711.00 at lbm (4217.31) dfd aug 2012  overdraft 800 (400.00) kill overdraft first, loan 1500.00 ,creditcard 2411.000 -
Joined the challenge in April, vowed no more clothes until next year. FAILED! Went away for a few days and forgot to pack my spare trousers, so bought a cheap (£5) plain black pair in T*sc*'s. Will last me ages, so a bargain I suppose - but annoying just the same!Keeping two cats and myself on a small budget, and enjoying life while we're at it!0

Gosh we are all a little quiet on here at the moment?
It must be because we are all being so good:A
Funny I was just thinking about us all this morning when I was out for a walk and it got me thinking about its getting to that time of year when I need to go through the wardrobe -sorry my personal boutique- and get rid of stuff I have not worn - but I can't remember the "rules" - is it if you have not worn it since last year or since last "season"?
I have to admit I think I have a drawer full of white & pin striped shirts that I def not worn since this time last year - in fact some maybe longer. How many white shirts does a girl need?
My life style has changed and I don't even have to wear them for work as uniform is provided -plus am a bit of a casual- chuck- stuff- on- look (although I do think about it really)
I only have two Christmas do's - both fancy dress - so no real need for new clothes. In fact even though I am a "autumnal" person the clothes in the shops that I have seen have not really inspired me as yet - maybe I am becoming "desensitized"to clothes shopping!:rotfl:
I can feel the need to ebay/table top coming on to get rid of stuff
Keep going everyone - Christmas is just around the corner!Crazy Clothes Challenge 2012 £57.20/£100,CCC 2013 £68.67/£100 ,CCC 2014 £94.32/£100

I'm the same I really wanted to replenish my wardrobe when I was away last weekend in Brighton. We walked around the shops for about an hour, it was pack & freezing so the experience was less than fantastic. The stuff in the shops was far from inspiring & what I was prepared to pay would have only brought me tat and going through my mind was I could get much better quality stuff at a price I was prepared to pay on ebay!
with that in mind I puchased a coat £24.99 & a tunic dress £4.95 yesterdayDF as at 30/12/16
Wombling 2025: £87.12
NSD March: YTD: 35
Grocery spend challenge March £253.38/£285 £20/£70 Eating out
GC annual £449.80/£4500
Eating out budget: £55/£420
Extra cash earned 2025: £1950 -

whlist waiting for the chemist to get my pills(30 mins)I "had" to look at the clothes shops(well i did 1)and bought two new tops for £34 which was a big saving on the original price:)I did not however buy the sequinned dress I tried on as despite a good price and lovely fit the sequins felt rough under my arms and I think would soon drive me mad:rotfl:
I am off for a treat to stratford in a couple of weeks so will visit the sales there(I am so overspent already this year it won't matter much if I buy more clothes:rotfl:but hopefully next year I will be good esp as vat goes up....maybe that is why Christmas sales are alresdy starting!
please excuse spelling mistake sif any as typing this without my glassses on(too lazy to go and get them!)0 -
