The 2010 crazy clothes challenge

Hi all, I have to confess a BIG £38 spend! For that though I did get a dress, two tops, two pairs of tights and two necklaces.. and I spent a long time thinking about whether I would get a lot of wear out of them and I think I definitely will... the tops are replacements for some old ones I had to throw out recently. I am tempted to up my budget as I have some unspent holiday money (holiday cancelled due to the flight situation) and a new better-paid job starting soon, but that's not really the point of the challenge is it?
So I only have £22.90 left - will need to get surveying for some vouchers! Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -

Hi all,
had a day in town with mum and did really well as didn't spend a penny on clothes for myself. Got a couple of bargins in M&S for DS and for OH's neice (it's her birthday in September). Mum got bits for Ds, and my two neices but we had a competition going to see who would cave first and buy something for ourselves - neither of us did - woohoo to us lol.
need to get some ebaying done but to be honest I can't be bothered. I may try big wardrobe instead as I joined ages ago and haven't really used it.0 -
Hiya everyone,
I've got my first spend to declare
I had to buy a black top to be printed up for a hen party that I'm going on, so unfortunately I can't even wear it again (without getting some very strange looks!)
I bought a black vest from Dorothy Perkins £4 - (with a discount
)
Bit gutted that my first spend is on a top that I can't re-use, but still really proud and have shocked myself that I've stuck to this challenge!MFW 2012 #145 - Overpayments - £0.00/£20000 -
I have a question?
I thought that I saw someone mention on here that you could 'claim back' some of your spends if you sold some of your clothes on ebay. Is that right? If so, if I sold I bra for £8 + on ebay (which I just did) could I knock that off my total spent on clothes this year?DFW Nerd 941 Proud to be dealing with my debt

Another charity shop spend to declare £4.99 on some Next black jeans and £1.99 on a belt to wear with them. Total left £74.42
CheersCrazy 2011 clothes challenge, #60 - £193.20/£2000 -
Erm, I popped into one of my favourite charity shops today. Just for a wee look...:whistle::whistle:
£13.40 later... one will go fab white my white linen trousers (pin and black, cut out shoulder look thingy - oh I can't explain it, but it's lovely... will also get away with it as a work top in summer
So chuffed with that.
The other two I have no intention of wearing and will put them on BW. I do like them but they are green and I don't end to wear much green. Besides they were in perfect condition and one was Diesel and one Abercrombie and Fitch. I just couldn't pass them up.
But guessing I need to decleare them until I sell them on?Hey anybody who joins BW - can you PM me

I know! I wish I'd posted about how worried I was before I plucked up the courage to go for it! My user name is the same as here, I've hardly put any of my stuff up yet (too busy procrasinating) but have a nose. And let me know your BW persona and I'll look you up.
