I bought a smart beige jacket for a job interview from a charity shop for £10 so I am now at £85-20 (my number is 133).
Not bad, halfway through March! :j0 -
Morning everyone, thought I would pop in as I am heading to town shortly, looking for a day-time dress and black cardi, have been after both for ages but have to admit...this challenge has totally put me off shopping! Does anybody else find vouchers harder to spend? I sort of feel that if I 'only' have £10 of vouchers I need to make sure I spend them wisely. As opposed to spending money stupidly without thinking about it?
Probably just me, everyone else I've mentioned it to thinks I've lost the plot...
Anyway, I really hope I actually manage to find what I'm after today!Barclaycard [STRIKE]£7,296.35[/STRIKE] £6134.99 - MBNA [STRIKE]£4,182.88[/STRIKE] £3267.08 - O/draft [STRIKE]£569.31[/STRIKE] £413.59 - Capital One [STRIKE]£1477.55[/STRIKE] £1451.44Total debt [STRIKE]£12048.54[/STRIKE] £11267.10 6% paid0 -
i got a couple of nice (needed) bras from M&S sale yesterday - £3 each. I did pick up the matching undies but they were another £3 each so I resisted.
New spends - £6.loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -
Hello, I'm still about, nothing to declare though, is that good or bad lol. I bought a pair of work trousers for a fiver last week but not including that in my £100. Hmmm maybe should have bought work skirt, might help with promotion.....actually not with my legs :rotfl:
What do you all do about clothes you sell? Do you add that bit on to your total? Ive got some bits to ebay soon0 -
Is it too late to join? I know I'm very very late
but better than never! Can you put me down for £100, even though we're 25% through the year already?
Having just done my first SOA and found out that this is what I usually spend on clothes in a month (eek!) its going to be a REAL shock to the system, but I think that's exactly what's needed!
Just to clarify, where does making your own clothes fit into this? Part of my plan to cut down on spending is to start making, thinking more time spent at home on the sewing machine less time pounding the high street! But do I need to "declare" money spent on fabric and pattterns? Still possible, as I'm hoping to raid my grandma's store of fabulous vintage fabrics that she never got around to using, but puts a different spin on things.Total debt: [STRIKE]£9473.62[/STRIKE] £7,384.87 22% PAIDTAF #25 NSD 8/12 | Food £43.45/£50 | eBay 0/20 | Exercise 5/18:T Proud to be Dealing with my Debt :TDFD: June 20150 -
Hello all you fabulous challengers
Aplogies for yet another long absence, too much work & house stuff to do at the moment.
I planned to do a bit of charity shopping yesterday but got waylaid by venturing into DDs room. I decide to give it a deep clean & declutter & apart from 3 alien life forms which I believe were once bananas, I also threw out a whole bin bag of bits & pieces of junk. I thought she'd go mad, but she's actually delighted.
It took me 5 hours so I didnt get to any shops at all & today she wasnt keen on doing any shopping so I still havent bought any new stuff
Welcome to newcomers : Ladyfrom Venice, Purple skies & Karmachilovething :hello:
It's never to late to joinAs to making your own clothes, I think you should choose whether to include materials in you bedget.
