No new buys for me, I did find my list of things to buy though and thought a denim skirt was on it, the reason it wasn't, I already have one I forgot about. Needs mending at the zip but will be as good as new, so my list of things I MAY need throughout the year is:
Black Belt for Jeans
Spanx (maybe) unless I lose some weight
Boyfriend Jacket (maybe) - having difficulties finding one I like
Lime Green Necklace to go with an outfit!0 -
My new clothes came today from bargain crazy four skirts and a top and they are lovely really good quality wasnt expecting much but i thought they would do me around the house but they are too good for that best 5p i ever spent i just wish i could get more.0

Hi rocketbabydoll,
Thanks for the encouragement. I think it's really good to be able to come on here and realise there are so many of us out there!!
Think I'm gonna spend this Sunday sorting out all the current clothes that I have got as I often find some little gems that I had forgotten about! I've got 2 weddings soming up later this year so gonna have to really try and be good and not buy new outfits for bothMFW 2012 #145 - Overpayments - £0.00/£20000 -
A lovely knitted jacket, chunky cardi. (almost too good to wear at home, will look fab with jeans) Reduced to £12!!! (Looks more like a classic Chanel boucl! jacket!!
£12 cardi.
Just a tip to you all. Most winters My big toe goes through thick tights usually by the third wear, and I'm forever sewing them up and trying to stop the subsequent ladders with nailvarnish. However, this winter Sainsbury's have bought out this brilliant set of coloured thick tights, 3 for a £4, Tu 40, supersoft opaque tights, denier with lycra. Bought black, grey and purple and only one pair has gone in the toes, and only once. It's the first time tights will have lasted for more than one year. They are brilliant quality, recommend you get them while you can.
Thankfully, I've lost enough weight to get back into a G cup (gulp) and bought 2 brilliant bras from Asda for £12, but as it's underwear, didn't count. I'm so greatfull, I'm back to a G cup. Big knockers cost a blinking fortune for decent bras and they need to be replaced more often. Chillout5892

Evening All
I need a little feed back on an idea that I have had swimming round my head ever since I joined this challenge and I would be grateful for any thoughts on it.
Ok so here goes........................
Last year off freecycle I was lucky to be the recipient of a fantastic long evening dress - my intention was to wear it to the annual ball of the local childrens charity I am involved in but unfortunately by the time if got round to it I had put weight on so it stayed in my wardrobe but tried it on a couple of weeks ago and it fits .
Now am wondering if I could use this to an advantage to raise not only money for the charity but awarenss of freescycling and the crazy clothes challenge.
Well if I wear it to this years ball- have photos taken of it etc - start the ball going freecycling it but keeping tabs on it (via a seperate web site linked to the charity???) people wear it to their "do" take piccies send to me - get them on the site etc - freecycle it again and it keeps going until hopefully it ends up back with me(maybe a big hope) where I could auction it - I was even thinking of getting all the wearers to either sign or embroider their name on the dress maybe on the fish tail part - it would be great fun to follow the dresses adventures possibly raise money for the charity and prove to people you don't have to spend money on new clothes every time they have a "do"
Maybe a few celebs might be up for a challenge - wouldn't if be great if someone picked a freecycler that was a celeb(without knowing) and they did wear it?
I know I would probably have to get the ok from freecycle to do this.
Anyway it was just a thought - what do you all think? I know there are probably lots of flaws in the idea - but I thought I would view it here first

What a great idea debbiedeejay, reminds me a bit of the film The Wedding Dress which passes to different women through time. Loved that film! Don't know much about freecycle, but sure you could make it work.0

Think it's a bit complicated but I like the idea of following the dress, just for the sake of following the dress. I think embroidery shoud go on the inside of the petticoat though.
Shame you didn't load a oiccie of the dress. Interesting idea though. Chillout5892
