mudbath - congrats on your results

lil_me - sad news about Kim Peek

I hope greenbee, GnB and anyone else who has to travel arrives safe and warm. I've not had any snow or ice down here but what I see on the news looks scary. I hope everyone gets to spend Christmas as planned and no-one gets snowed in. We're still not sure if my cousin will make it down.

I need to do a bit of a declutter / tidy so is anyone else sad / desperate enough :rotfl:for a

!!!!!! why do 'visitor's to our street (ie students living in some of the houses) think its ok to have a huge domestic outside.:mad::mad:

Just been out to ask what was going on, a woman screaming, a lad trying to get her back to his house.

More drama than terror, believe me I know the difference.

I asked her if she wanted help and she just kept screaming......he tried to explain they were having a row and that he wanted to sort it in the house.

She kept screaming, I said, 'Im going to ring the police if this doesn't stop, let her go',

cue more screaming....in the end I said '!!!!!! will you shut up there's children here....'

Cue slammed door and she's gone....

    Think I need a glass of wine.:o

    Well done Lil_me - that's fantastic!

I seem to be falling apart. I went to a friends house for carols/mince pies and fell over my friend's daughters clarinet (the clarinet is fine but I have a lump on the inside of my knee that wasn't there before!). Ouch!

Also, I've suddenly developed a load of mouth ulcers - I never have mouth ulcers. Oh well:confused: it will help with the weight loss I guess .

Awww hugs. Be careful out there! The thing with mouth ulcers that I've found works brill is to swish and spit with a teaspoon of salt dissolved in a cup of luke warm water just before you go to bed.

And Frodders - well done on the cake turning out of the tin and not falling to bits. I always fear that when I bake cakes.

Sausage rolls are on their last 5 minutes or so and looking good. Cauliflower cheese with onion and ham is nearly ready along with Soappie's patented potato cubes with olive oil and black pepper.

Things are finally coming together this evening but it will be another early night ~yawn~
