    Afternoon ladies

Been having a catch up on fred so will do that first then add listy

Diva - hugs for the loss of your friend and one so young
Piggers - take it easy hun
embb - I've done the same, gone a little OTT but I know it will be paid of by Feb at the latest.
Happy Birthday to Poppy and Sunnygirls DD2
Vivw - nice to see you back for Christmas
Grateful - I would have said its more of a good ''claret' colour which is what we used to call it in the job when we had a good spillage :rotfl:. As for receptionists (and I have been one) we had to sign a confidentiality agreement when I worked at the local hospital. And DH could swing for the one late yesterday who when they phoned to get an appt with the doctor because the had trouble with a chesty cough, told them to go home and call an ambulance as it could be swine flu. They actually told her they didnt need an ambulance but she insisted that they phone so they did .
julijim - hope you feel better soon
lilme - congratulations on passing your exam. And I think you will have a great Christmas as you give your boys sooo much more than just presents x
    Rosepink - have a hug
Dorastar - welcome and hope you stay around
Special hugs for Toots and LadyLIb

Oh and quote of the day and week as well must go to

  • Yay my lovely OCADO man has just delivered my shopping. Taken me 1/2 hour to put it away. My fridge is now edible jenga:rotfl::rotfl:.

My neighbour is such a c0ck sometimes. The OCADO man had just very carefully edged up our narrow icy cul de sac between badly parked cars, when my neighbour decided he urgently needed to get out of his drive and so started blasting the horn at him. The delivery driver dutifully hopped back in his van and edged forward to let my neighbour out. The delivery guy starts unloading my shopping and the neigbour is back again blasting on his horn to get back in his drive. He decides he can't possibly wait 2 minutes and parks up on the other side of the cul de sac (about 10 yards from his house) then get out muttering loudly about how the delivery driver 'want's to get an f ing driving licence.

Many a time people visiting his house have blocked my drive and I have just parked elsewhere until they have gone.

I felt really sorry for the delivery guy as he looked absolutely frazzled.

I waxed all of the oak stuff. House stinks of it now, hopefullly it will wear off soon. The decluttering of downstairs is done bar the laundry that needs sorting ready for ironing or just putting away. No point doing any more hoovering till tomorrow afternoon.

I can see that it will all be done now which makes me feel much better :T
