Hugs, soappie you are not alone ( a lone human ).
soappie - I'm on my own too; been watching Chitty and now deciding on something to watch this evening. Hugs x

Aw, thanks for the hugs - I didn't mean to sound maudlin. It's strange, but I'm quite enjoying it. I have a Poirot on the TV at the moment, have just manicured and painted my toenails and have settled on what to cook for dinner - it will be jacket potato, cold turkey, pickled onions, baby pickled beetrott and bits of salad - I shall enjoy :D

Vegged out on the sofa for the evening watching cheap tv but needed the rest.

    WM and DW on

Hex - I hope DS2's cough settles down

HelenJelly - that is a lovely thing for your DH to say

Lil_me - I'm like that if the boys are enjoying each other's company you feel mean sending them to bed.

DS2 is making a kitcar on the kitchen table - he loves that sort of thing. DS1 practising snooker - the table we got for the carpeted garage has been such a huge hit with the 3 of them so all the work was worth it now.

    Plan for tomorrow:
    Pop to the JL sale
rescue my dahlias from their pots
10 minutes gardening out the front
thorough clean of DS2's window frame
DH to finish prep in DS2's room
Wash the curtains from DS2's room whilst they are down.

  • Evening all! We are here at mum's and the keyboard on this computer is wierd! The @ symbol is where the " is and vice versa. It took me ages to discover this when I was trying to put an @ somewhere earlier! I nearly came on here to ask someone to type one so I could copy and paste it!

The screen is making my eyes to funny too, the print is very very very small

Anyway, we are having a lovely time. We went to Tesco on the way and stocked up on a few bargins (my assumption that it would be empty was completely wrong! It was heaving) like Chocolate Oranges (mint flavour) for 60p! And half price legs of lamb, yum. We had one of their bags of Indian food for dinner and I must say it was yummy. Don't usually like ready meals but this was top quality.

I've had a lovely sleep this afternoon, and am here now cos DH is watching a film I'm not overly keen on. I've been reading a book all evening, nice to be able to do what I want without feeling guilty taht I should be doing something more productive.

Oh, and I've done two loads of washing so far and put one in the TD - need to put the 2nd load in in a mo, and then start another lot in the WM to dry first thing in the morning.

Rach I hope you are ok after your fall

Jjef I hope your DD is ok, that sounds worrying about her faint

Did anyone else have a thanks button on p.63? I didn't have one at all but do on p.64!

Poppy well done on getting your oven cleaned so soon after y'day!

Macpep I hope your DS is better soon

Hugs Soappie, Frodders, Rach, Diva, Tris, Lady Liberty and to you all xx

I always leave my tree until last too :D I've removed the stockings and the 'how many days until christmas' blackboard. Next will be the musical christmas toys and christmas hats. I tend to do a bit a day over the next week.

Just waiting for WM to finish so I can put the clothes on the maiden and then off to bed.

Sorry to talk present buying already but DS was given a PS2 game for Christmas. It's a car racing game called 'Mashed'. Problem is it's something I re-gifted to him this year as he was original bought it 3 years ago. Anyway, he loves it but it keeps freezing. Does anyone know of a good car racing game I can get him as a replacement?

    Thanks in advance xx

Mudders mine like Gran Turismo - that is 'proper' racing of cars - is mashed more racing or crashing? Techie Forum peeps know heaps and heaps of good games.

WM finished so off to do that and to bed this time - night all
