    Afternoon Ladies
Hope you all had a lovely Xmas Day and that today brings good times too. Been busy here preparing a buffet for DD who is having friends over tonight. DS is in work so having a peaceful hour before he comes home.
Have sorted all the cardboard out and put in recycling box and sifted through the rest of the rubbish. Table been decluttered and put back to its normal size and some of the pressies tidied away. Oh yes........ and oven wiped out after use yesterday and today

............ hope you have a great one. Am wondering whether you managed to get bread at Tesco. I went up for some rolls for the buffet and all they had on the shelves were the part baked ones!!

Edinburghlass - Belated Happy Birthday :bdaycake:
Soappie - Hoping your DD’s friend is ok
Msgnomey - I love scrabble but unfortunately nobody else in the house is that keen on playing so usually end up playing it online
Lil_me - Love the pic of Charles. Have always fancied having one – are they difficult to keep?
Rach - Your pressies sound lovely. Glad you managed to hang onto your handbag when you slipped and that you haven’t suffered any brusing. My OH tends to leave his shopping til Xmas Eve then just manages to just pick ‘something’ up with not thought at all. Enjoy your second Xmas lunch
Mudbath , lala, Serena, Greenbee, Cyclingyorkie, Ishtar, mumoffour, Sunnygirl, thrifty and Triker - Glad your days went so well
Kazmeister - Well done on your list. I have given up this week
Pillion - You are so right to be proud of your Dad. What a wonderful thing to do
Diva - Sounds like you have a busy day on. Supportive vibes for both Tristan and you. I have tried that gammon in cola but cooked in the slow cooker. Not tried yet but it is looking tempting
Boddy – Hope you enjoyed your lazy day and that you are feeling better now. DS tried to get one of the slankets for DD but was unable to find one. They sound fab
Juliejim - :rotfl:at the slippers. Hope you managed to get some
Gand b - Hoping your cold doesn’t hang around for too long
Rosepink - Have a lovely break at your Mums
Jjef - Poor DD – hope there are not repercussions from her fall
Jinky - I will join you in the cancelling of Xmas. Hope all ok with you
Sexymouse - Lovely that you had a nice day yesterday and hope both you and OH will be feeling better soon
Hugs to anybody that I have missed out and hoping you all enjoy the rest of the holiday
Am now in need of something to eat so off to raid the packed fridge

    Afternoon all

    Happy Birthday Pigpen:bdaycake:

Had a nice day again, went over to DD2's for lunch and just got back a while ago - can't leave our dog too long. DS is here until tomorrow so I've still got company tonight (DH still dogsitting for DD1).

Not caught up yet but I hope everyone's OK.

I S&Sd the kitchen this morning, damp wiped the living room and computer desk and vacuumed right through. Nothing was that bad but it felt nice to make sure.

I got a stair basket for Christmas! Sad I know however I really really wanted one to put the dog's lead etc in instead of on the stairs taking up the first 3 stairs - it fits and it makes the stairs tidy!

Glad HB didn't have any as I would have bought one myself and ended up with 2!

Off to make leftover tea for Boxing Day - my favourite of turkey, wedges, peas, stuffing and apple sauce!

So who's getting itchy to get their decs down then:rotfl:

Logo game DS2 got for Christmas was a great hit with kids and adults alike - just thought I'd mention it whilst it was on my mind.

Enjoying a nice little glass of cava whilst dinner finishes so feeling a bit mellow.

we have had a very lazy day, FIL for the first time in years bought his own pressies for the family not knowing what to expect we were a little wary anyway he bought us all a Wii game - Family Trainer - well we have had great fun on it this afternoon.

Have had a couple of hours snow again today so glad we arent travelling until Monday when fingers crossed it will have gone!

Thanks for all the comments re DD1 yes pigpen & lilme I had thought the same but she had been awake for about 30 mins not sure what really happened just glad she missed the door frame by inches.

Just having a quiet g&t while tea cooks - all leftovers from yesterday then i think its more games tonight.
