Hi Ladies
Hope you all had a nice day yesterday, DH went to work and I made a wee buffet up for the kids which DD loved, they got far too much presents as usual . DS has not been well but I knew he was coming down with something. Today was our official Christmas Dinner and we are all sat here stuffed, with the exception of DS who has been sleeping for 2 houra, he has only had some weetabix, he won't even eat ice cream but as long as he is drinking am not bothered, we have the panto on Monday so hopefully he will have picked up enough to enjoy it. Am going for a wee snooze then gonna have pudding, DH says he will clear table and load DW so am not gonna argue with him
Hugs to you all, hope you are all well and :bdaycake:Happy Birthday to HRH hope you have had a great day X:TGratitude is the best Attitude :T

kazm ((hugs)) hope you feel better tomorrow
Poppytime chameleons are one of the more tricky lizards to keep, we started with a breaded dragon about 9 years ago as DP wanted a lizard, he's brilliant, such a character.
Pillion how lovely, I do something similar since having the boys.
boddy ((hugs)) hope the lazy day helps
Dusty thanks for mentioning online banking, just remembered I need to transfer some money.
fedupandskint I love those but my DP sad no way
Dusty I wouldn't have had any up if it was not for the boys, so yes, but I will wait...a little while
Just ended up going out to recover a friends car from the mud, she'd parked on snow & missed the drive, got it well stuckered, not a chance it could have been pushed out, but the Land Rover got it out.
The only plus of the guitar hero is being able to listen to stuff like Bon Jovitalked DS2 into using guitar instead of the drums, then I said that he had enough time on there....so he's just put a different game in which is not quite what I was meaning!! We had pick & mix tea of meat sandwiches, stuffing, pringles, fruit, nuts & cake. Yummy. I need to still sort what is to go in the frezer but the second DW load is in. DS1s been picking @ the cola ham since dinner, I think he likes it.
Getting a little annoyed as the third Lego set the boys have opened is also misssing something, that is every set now they got has something missing. I think I will see if there is an email contact on the lego site. One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
Doogie all walked and DH now decluttered off to work now so just me and DD now. She playing on the Wii and tea is a help yourself buffet from the fridge, last I saw her she was tucking into a pack of salami. I managed a eg of kettle chips and half a tub of dip
. I hate days like this, I'm so at a loose end now that I'm actually thinking about what cupboards I could clear out :rotfl:. Its either that or online sales which I really dont have the money for. Was thinking about going to Peterborough tomorrow to see if I could get any Lush but an 80 mile round trip is not a good idea for 1 shop
plus I remembered I have tickets for DD and I to go and see an ice dance show tomorrow, had them ages and nearly forgot
I'm fine really lilme, just have an unsatiable thirst for some reason and having had some medical training and a heavy family history am thinking oh no not diabetes :rotfl: but it was just a passing thought and nothing else.
Right I really should find something to go and doMortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -

Lol about putting the decorations away - I'm tempted! Best present I got DH was the Hugh FW cookbook. He's devouring and has lots of plans!!! He's currently making a fab turkey dish with the legs, wings and leftovers. The fact that I never want to see food again for at least a year is irrelevant.
Children are in their bedrooms reading. Both are overtired (me too!).
I've just put the table cloth, napkins etc in the dryer so I can set the table again for people coming round tomorrow. I keep S/S'ing so the place isn't too bad.
LL you're very brave doing the shops.....I'm not doing the sales this year. CBA!:rotfl:
Just waiting for the water to heat up then it's bath and bed for me! Hugs to you all xx0 -
Hope your bum's not too sore Rach and glad the beer was OK - oh and with the ttc, it can take time hun, just forget about it if you can and enjoy the trying without being overanxious each month about the result
I really HAVE done nothing all day! Except play silly games on the computer and had a long soak in the bath with some nice smellies that were a present yesterday. I'm so glad I did all the clearing up yesterday. Oh- I did wash the christmas tablecloth and napkins though, and stripped my bed and put the linen in the WM - it's now drying in the TD (naughty naughty!) and will get put back on the bed before I get in it tonight so that's something I suppose.
I ought to find some food soon but I'm really not that hungry. I had a late brunch of smoked salmon scrambled eggs on wholemeal and a couple of biscuits and a couple of chocolates but that's it. There's just me and the dog home tonight - DD has gone over to her bloke's place and will probably stop there the night. It feels quite strange, just me and the dog and the cats and fish - first time ever that's happened on a boxing day.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life
