Morning All
So far all I've done this morning is had a bath, read some of my book and ate breakfast. I had a Lush Christmas party bath bomb in my bath so it's covered in stars - DH said the bath looked like I'd weeed in it as it was orange.
We're supposed to be going to do a bit of shopping today - to get some slippers:o - among other things then we've got another party tonight at my M&Ds.
Hope everyone has a good day
Hugs

Morning everyone.
Im still feeling quite rough today. Took some Night nurse last night and slept well. Had a sleep yesterday afternoon as well. Have not got the energy to do anything so will be having another lazy day.
Embb I went out to get a paper and nearly ended up on my rear. It looked as if it had thawed but I realised it had rained and froze.
Hugs for everyone. Lady L and Toots Thinking of you both. Hugs.0 -
Morning all. Just flown by clearing up after DH. Note to self, don't ask him to clear woodburner out!
Hope all is well.
eta rosepink I have seen that thing before on your Mum's computer. Does she have it on US setting instead of UK?
Not sure we have to do anything we don't want to today, isn't it Sunday today? Have lost track.
Gutted I missed most of Hamlet. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
Morning all
I've had earache in the night and today, no idea why, not awful just nagging.
DH is noisely sanding in DS2's room so I'm going to have a quick shower and then pop down to JL to see if the purse I am after is in the sale and have a little look around.
Still hoping to pop in the garden later but with a woolly hat on.
Curtains washed and will have time to dry an be ironed before the room in finished hopefully on Tuesday night. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

i'm pretty sure Hamlet will be released on DVD in early Jan!
I took DD2 to see it last year - she is a huge David Tennant fan.......sadly we got the understudy as DT had done his back in!
Was brill though...and I loved Patrick Stewart...:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
Another late night and lie in this morning here so still slobbing round in my dressing gown. Breakfast is all done and cleared away and am now going for a bath and then heading into town as I have tockets for DD and I to see Snow White on Ice.

i think that's what it is too. You can go into something or other (maybe control panel) and amend it to UK keyboard (unless she has a US keyboard on it for some reason). I once had to type on a swiss german keyboard, that was very odd!!
cyclingyorkie - my friend (actress!) has kissed David Tennant!!
penpen - i think you've got a good point about decorations, we usually put ours up the weekend before Christmas but this year did it a week earlier. 12th night is getting quite close to my birthday so I prefer taking them down earlier. I have friends who celebrate Orthodox Christmas so their house is decorated for ages! I might at least get rid of the empty advent calendars today
I slept badly last night, combination of too much food and AF being evil, but I slept in a bit this morning so have just had breakfast. Hoping DH will make me another cuppa in a bit. He is putting yet more new music on his ipod. We turned down the invite of a roast dinner at his parents today so will go for a local walk and perhaps a coffee or bit of lunch and then pop up to in laws to see DH's siblings and their families before they leave. I'd like to get the stock made today and the prezzies put away.
Rach's bits and bobs to do:
put presents away
write birthdays on new calendar & in diary
make stock from turkey bones
list of thanks letters to write
package book to post to DH's auntie (i got for xmas but have read already, she wants to read it!)
Empty bins
