    Mumof4 - I think you are amazing.
    Toots - smooch.gif

    Toochoosy - Well if you don't, I certainly do, I just [STRIKE]ordered them[/STRIKE].. looked at them.giggle.gif
Serena and Crafty - Hamlet was very good I thought. He played it with just the right amount of angst..
I have some lounge tidying to do today before the inlaws get here. And a clean tablecloth will need to be unearthed so I can re-lay the table.
Had a another delicious dinner yesterday... I really enjoyed my sausage meat stuffing balls as much cold as I did hot on Christmas Day. And the hint of chilli really works.
Ok, so I am still not posting a list, hope I am not expelled from Flylady High. For me, lists start again tomorrow!
I hope everyone has a great day, flyladying or not... With love and light for all.

To be frugal, you need to spend money wisely, simply spending less is not enough.
If you can't handle me at my worst then you don't deserve me at my best...
Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the little voice at the end of the day that says I will try again tomorrow.

  • So who's getting itchy to get their decs down then:rotfl:

Hardly  Our tree and decorations went up on Wednesday 23rd Dec and will come down on 12th Night, as is traditional. We then have a festively decorated house over all the Christmas holiday period, when friends and family visit. I really don;t get why poeple want them down so soon :confused:but then I didn;t get why people wanted them up when November was hardly out :p

I'm having toast and marmalade in bed and making a right mess :o I'm going to get up soon and do a quick tidy round before the children are up. DH and I are then going for a walk (to investigate why 3 huge teepees have been erected in the next village  ) and see how many glasses of sherry and mince pies we can blag from friends on the way :T

    Morning :hello:
Am trying to get back into ‘flylady mode’ but ‘CBA mode’ seems to be taking over at the moment. Having said that I have this morning S&S the kitchen, WM on, HHI and given DS lift to pick his car up which he sensibly left last night.
Today is OH’s Birthday and after his shenanigans on Xmas Day am in two minds about giving him his present – may well unwrap it and send back for refund . Anyhow,
Dusty - Decs will definitely not be up til twelfth night here. Usually take them all down around about the 2nd Jan
Macpep - Hope your DS is feeling better
Lil_me - You have had the bearded dragon for 9 years? What is their average lifespan? Any luck with the Lego website? Tesco vouchers here amounting to about £700 worth when used on deals – have been saving them up to try that laser hair removal treatment for DD. Has anybody tried this and know if it is any good?
LL - Thanks for being there
Frod - Thank you for the slanket link – will show DS
Toochoosey - If you have to ask if you need them the answer is no lol ;)
Rosepink - Hate doing the oven but now that I have had it cleaned I really don’t ever want it to get back to the state it was
Diva - That gammon was beautiful and your stuffing sounds  Could I have your recipe?
Jinky - Hope you are feeling better today :kisses3:
Penpen - Enjoy your sherry and mince pies
Soappie - Tis Sunday, the day of rest ;)

I'd rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints - the sinners are much more fun ;)

And remember, it's Toots' slightly incompetent assistant again so any mistakes are mine, not her!

Must phone my friend and ask about the cake.
We ate later than expected so it never got cut and I want to know how it tastes.

    Morning everyone.

Oh i really could take down the decorations but i think the suggestion of taking one thing away a day is great because when it's all taken down together the house looks bare.

Need to rehome all the new toys today (to toy room which needs cleared out first) and give the kitchen a good clean. Meat now defrosting in oven,i forgot to put it out last night.:o It will be the only dinner i've cooked over the last couple of days.

Right cuppa and i'll make a start.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

    Morning lovelies!

Glad you all seem to have had lovely Christmases, we have too, very chilled and relaxed it was (first time ever) and that's thanks to all of you, so Thanks :D

Yes, I'm itching to take the decs down, done a couple, the tree has dropped and the baubels keep falling off, they're not going back on, the ornamental stocking fell off so I didn't put them back up, yesterday I had a 3 hr flinging session :j the tree was lucky it wasn't included cause I just want to lob it in the garden, it's soooooooooo ugly now. The cards in the dining room may well come down today at some point, everything is pretty much clean and organised, need to do some washing tho.

The ice is still here  it's rained all night but it's just lying on the top, went to the shop first thing for gas/elec and skidded to a halt at my front door, wish it would just p off, it's doing my nut in.

Kids still asleep as we had a late one playing on the new wii games :o leftover pork roast and turkey for tea today, will do some mash and veg with it.
