  • Hello! Looks like you all had a good day yesterday. We had a nice relaxing day - I popped out for a bit in the morning - a friend had paid me to make her an ipod case and i wanted to drop it off to her before she went away for the weekend - and then we both just watched TV all afternoon and I did lots of knitting (we don't celebrate Christmas, in case anyone is wondering).

We are off to Mum's today, they are all going away for the weekend, and we are housesitting and looking after the rabbit. Really looking forward to a break, it's going to be so nice! Back on Monday.

I've cleaned the bathroom very thoroughly, and done some tidying. I also cleaned some of the mold off the bathroom windowsill and from the front of my shoe cupboard (still haven't emptied it, I'm absolutely dreading it. DH promises he will help me to do all the mold next week). DH has just done some washing up and cleaned the kitchen, so that's good. We are taking all our washing with us to mum's, as she has a tumble drier!

Have a lovely weekend, see you in a few days. Love and hugs to all, especially Lady Liberty, Toots, and Diva xx

    Morning all

    pigpen - happy birthday

DH has been up since 7.45 watching the cricket, I stayed in bed for another 2 hours :D Just eating breakfast and then we need to put some of the prezzies away. Sounds like DH is washing up the bits that didn't get finished yesterday and I did mention that it would be a good idea to clean the oven sooner rather than later as it's very muddy thanks to all the duck fat from the potatoes spitting.

I will go and see what I can cross off yesterday's list. I'd love a lazy day but it's xmas day mark 2 here when we all go to DH's aunties for a bit of a rerun of yesterday, though this year not a second roast. I find it all slightly odd as it's exactly the same group of people but I guess every family has it's own traditions! I just want cold meat, cheese and biscuits and pickles! Guess that will be tomorrow for us.

    You're welcome piggers!

I'm attempting to clear the LR - having to climb over DH and DD to do it as they are sitting in the middle of it building a puzzle ball! Loads of cardboard gone outside into the recycling bin and loads of bags of other rubbish which Dh is going to take into work with him on Tuesday to put it into their skip.
