Tristan mailed me just after I posted yesterday morning. He unfortunately spent all day in bed on Christmas Eve with some kind of stomach bug. At least that is what he called it. I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who continues to pray and send supportive vibes for him.

Had a gorgeous dinner though I could only eat a tiny bit of pudd as I was so full. I sat and stripped Torvil the Turkey while watching Eastenders and froze 5 lbs of meat and there is lots left. We have that plus the delicious Cola ham for tomorrow and on the 27th when my OHs parents come to visit we shall cook the beef.

My plans for today are to make a trifle for tomorrow and also some more mince pies as my OH finished off that last batch! I hope you all have a lovely Boxing Day. With love and light for all.

Morning everyone.

A lazy pyjama day for me today. Im going to have some breakfast and take some meds to try and get rid of this cold. DD bought me a snuggle rug. It looks a bit like a sleeping bag and is quilted. So will tuck myself up in that later and watch tv. DD gave me a huge plate of food to bring home so will pick at that today.

We had a great day yesterday - left the house at 11 am and returned at 11pm! Today we need to move the piles of presents out of the LR and put them away and then DH is going to set the wii up. We decided against setting it up Christmas Eve night so it was ready for yesterday morning as we knew they wouldn't have time to play on it.

DH and I had a kettle. dustbuster, candles and biscuits between us and I had 2? watches, a necklace, earrings, slippers, books, chocs, etc. DH was going to buy himself new slippers last week but I said wait and see what Santa brings;) then I forgot to tell my mum that he wanted some new slippers:o so Santa didn't bring any so guess what we need to go shopping for at some point.:D

The kids were impressed with their presents and didn't make a fuss when we said was time to come home from my Auntie's last night even though there was other children still there - mind you I don't think the other kids had been up half of the night!

Happy Birthday Pigpen

Had a lovely peaceful day yesterday, lunch was one of my better efforts though I did forget to cook the parsnips. My boned stuffed chicken cooked well and the chestnut stuffing went down a storm with DS.

We have no plans for the sales though OH may go out and treat himself to Windows 7.
