just had a quicky read through the thread...
so.. how long are people cooking it for and at what temp... electric...?
as this looks as though its going to be a regular in our house.. allways got the ingredients ....
also silly question... but are people buying the cheapest weetabix for these....shops basic...range ones...?Work to live= not live to work0 -
I made the chocolate brownie one and cooked it for 20 minutes and it was still a bit too gooey underneath and stuck to the tin. So its fell to bits but still tastes nice!
No one else here fancies trying it though.
Fussy lot!

I have just made the weetabix cake with Tesco own brand weetabix. It's fine. Have used them for the choc brownies recipe, too.
And I used tesco cheapo mixed dried fruit too.
And cheapo flour - probably Aldi or Lidl rather than tesco, but for no other reason than that's where I happened to be shopping when I needed some flour.
To be honest, I never pay more than I have to for basics, & no one has complained about my cakes!0 -
