*NEW* Thrifty Gifty - Money Making for Christmas & Occasions 2010

Hi everybody, hope all is well.
I just made the EBay challenge of £50 after fees and postage.
I don't have any old mobile phones, but have some empty ink cartridges - does anybody know sites which pay for these?
This month, I also aim to not spend money on unnecessary items and will put the money in my box instead.
I am finally getting the hang of checking through Quidco before going through to shopping sites etc and have made around £14 in January by doing this - I have also saved money by using voucher codes on top of this to get discounts or free postage etc.
I checked my spreadsheet today and have so far spent £136.45 on presents for Christmas and Birthdays etc (total spend should have been £576.90, so I have made a saving so far of £440.45! Brilliant!)
£77.71 has been made through Ebay sales, Quidco and surveys, so I have only spent £58.74 (will try to even this out through more earnings throughout the year).
I really couldn't have done this without all of your help and support, so thank you everybody - let's make this a great moneysaving year for all :TThrifty Gifty February make £20 challenge £21.05/£20.0 -
Janebo - check the tesco and boots links that I put in my post for details of ink recycling.

Just wondering where everyone does their free bingo?
I had a blitz on Toluna this week and now I only need 5000 to get the voucher. I think I have answered every quick poll on there so I may have to resort to writing opinions to get the points! I managed to get 2 surveys this week that I didn't get screened out of, so that helped up my total a bit

I made 20,605 on the Dooyoo challenge, got a bit bored towards the end but I'm making a list of things I need to review so will slowly add them hopefully.
Not sure what I can cut down on for the February challenge - maybe buy no clothes etcSealed Pot challenge #508

I do Butlins Bingo, when you sign up you have to deposit £10, but they have a free scratchcard that has a minimum guaranteed 10p win and once you have that first 10p win, you can take back your initial £10. To be able to play the free daily scrachcard, you need to have some money in the account, so by leaving in the 10p you win, you get to keep playing. I was curious to work out how much it works out as, and I figured you can make the equivalent of £6/hour and get £30 free cash in a year minimum. Of course, sometimes you win more than the 10p, which is great. My boyfriend also does Butlins Bingo and over the last two weeks has won £3.70 for essentially no expenditure.Grocery budget in 2023 £2279.18/£2700Grocery budget in 2022 £2304.76/£2400Grocery budget in 2021 £2107.86/£2200Grocery budget in 2020 £2193.02/£2160Saving for Christmas 2023 #15 £ 90/ £3650

Good luck to everyone with the February challenge!!!
I am going to give the Doo Yoo option a go as I wasn't able to do this last month. I have just written my first review and think I could get into this. I have found the site really usefull over the last couple of months and was tempted to have a go.
I am a member of bingo port but I think I may give butlins bingo a go too, thanks for the idea!
