Well done, really proud of everyone. Couldn't do it without everyone's help and motivation!!

I've just put a £20 eBay challenge on incase some people fancy doing that and don't want to be left out. But beware and I quote "eBay was a non-starter" ;) I'll be keeping my beady eye on you lot and we'll have mini challenges to get all our stuff on eBay because once you get into it, its fine. Its the getting started that always gets me down!

I had 2 old Guess purses, they'd gone a bit grotty, was going to bin them, then decided to throw them in the wash, they came out looking brand new so eBayed them for a tenner each! Happy days!

I did make about £70-£80 on eBay, but it had to be used on living as January was a long month and I overspent a little, but at least I didn't use credit cards.

Thanks to Rufusdog for the heads up about QYPE. If you are a QYPE ninja which some of us are after the last couple of promotions they wrote, they are asking for 28 reviews for a £25 voucher for Spa days.

All the info is here: http://en.blog.qype.com/review-your-way-to-a-healthier-2010/?utm_source=crm&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=system_message&

Handy hint: If you aren't a QYPE ninja, it probably isn't worth writing the 40 reviews (or more!) to get to this status just so you can join in. QYPE also don't give anything for your reviews...they only do periodic promotions like this, so you don't earn anything reviewing normally.

Not sure I will be bothering, I'll have to look into it more.

  • I have an old broken phone, the screen comes up white when turned on. Do you think I could get any pennies for it? :p

Getting closer on Toluna but still need 8.000 points to claim a love2shop voucher. The surveys seem to have dried up now I'm so close.

Will try to recycle my old camera when the new one arrives, but it is faulty so doubt anyone will pay me to take it off my hands. Shall be ebaying or similar this month so fingers crossed I get some extra pennies! Aiming to be money neutral by the end of the month - that's £160.00 to make

Just wondering where evryone does their free bingo?

I have one like this as well and I was looking around this morning. From the link in jamtart's post I found that love2recycle will pay for my broken phone but they only accept phones under 4 years old (mine is older than that). Fonebank also pay for broken phones and I can't find any age restriction on their site. Anyone else know if they accept older phones?

Either way, if you go through quidco, you should be able to get about £3 - £3.50 cashback on both of these sites. :)

Bluemoon I don't know about Fonebank, but I know envirophone take any broken and old phones, infact they still accept 3210's lol.

New challenge :). I dont have any phones or ink cartriges as I sold them all not that long ago! But I will do the ebay one, and try and save as much money as possible, and MAYBE do the dooyoo, but to be honest I dont know wether I can be bothered, I've been really put off it lol.

Well done everyone for January, and Good Luck for february! xxx
